@CARNVERSATIONS BR9 means its a 2.5L FB25 which is naturally aspirated.the 9 denotes 2.5L,same as BH9 & BP9 which are 2.5L.there is also BRM which is also 2.5L. the BRG is the 2.0L which you can denote as BR5 because its 2.0L (though not allowed) is the one that has the FA20 296HP DIT engine. And also dont forget the BR9 also had a turbo version which was 2.5L EJ25 that was either sedan/saloon or 5 door wagon.NOTE the differences.

I don't understand why Subaru has ended the Legacy Wagon. Why??? I drove the 2.0 liter Turbo Levorg the other day but could not say the two are comparable. Levorg feels more like an Impreza both in terms of space, comfort and driving dynamics. That said the Levorg is IMO more agile than the Legacy IMO and not as bulky as the Legacy. And YES the Legacy is bulky, I drove a friend's 2.0 Turbo BRG and that thing, just reversing alone was a nightmare. It's like a small lorry bana. But OMG when you switch on the tiny S# button on both Legacy 2.0DIT and Levorg 2.0Turbo, Lord have mercy ... those machines.... these are not for first car drivers IMO

I recently acquired a legacy BMG 2.0 Turbo. Even though i wasn't into subarus, let me just say there is a reason why Subaru guys will always be in rush. The power you get here is not something you really wanna miss once you hit that s# button. But what i really hate is having to squeeze in parkings lots coz this car is quite big compared to others in its class. Reversing alone, you need to be really good with estimations especially if it doesn't have a reverse camera.

My opinion on AWD, Quattro comes first, Audi have honed their AWD Systems for Decades, stemming back from the World Rally Championships debut of its system in 1983, with the most sensational WRC rivalry between Audi and Lancia (RWD). Another one would be Porsche's AWD System that debuted in 1988 with the Porsche 911 Carrera 4.

    • @robertalooondu2034
      @robertalooondu2034 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@moejaytvthetopten1608 I beg to differ, without a proper power delivery, the symmetrical AWD on Subaru's is useless, you cant mate a powerful AWD to a CVT, the transmission will be overloaded with too much power and cause overheating. This is why the newer RAV 4(2017 upwards) has a very good AWD system with a 8 or 9 speed gearbox, the land cruiser 200 and the new 300 series too packs one of the greatest off-roading equipment, same to Nissan Safaris. POWER * PROPER TORQUE MANAGEMENT+ AWD= PERFECT OFF ROADING COUPLE. Honestly, most crossovers are equipped with diagonal AWD systems, I suggest you off-road one or two and see. You'll appreciate most capable SUVs and AWD Estates

@@robertalooondu2034 you're the most polite person I've seen on this platform kudos. True thoughts and also thats subarus biggest problem as even their new subaru ascent suv has experienced alot of cvt problems, but on the awd segment alone without considering other aspects like transmission etc... fuji takes it home and that's one of the things that attracted toyota's patnership with them.

Power to weight ratio is a factor you need to consider. The A6, E250 & 523i are very heavy machines in weight (above 1650kilos) compared to the DIT

@@FREEPROGRAMS22 true then those german are more heavy and less powerfull which is a disadvantage to them

    Got a 2.5turbo br9 2weeks ago
It comes with bilstein and is bit harder than a BP.
I really miss the physical handbreak . With the Bp could invent some slides in curves. It was also less wide outside.
I’m stil getting used to the new one.
The sound sustem is definitely a plus with subwoofers dolby surround etc.
Also it has a lot of comfort. Torque is wow and it goes really forwards.
Didn’t race it yet or drift in winter. But it seems going as well the bp in curves. Hope it’s sporty as well. Will take it wo the Limit when im used to

The Levorg and the new foresters have good interiors. Ama how are they in reality? I'm genuinely curious

Yes. Subaru interiors are a let down. A beautiful car with such a poor interior

This is the most ugly subaru in the market, including the sedan (B4) which looks more of premio than subru.

For me this was the legacy with the most ugliest and boring looks ever though they improved on the looks with the new models from year 2015
