Reef Roids - How To Use It - The Right Way

แชร์

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 29 ธ.ค. 2017
  • This video is my opinion on how to use Reef Roids in a reef tank to feed your coral. I feed Acan coral, Trachy coral, Duncan coral, Candy Cane coral, Zoanthids, Mushrooms, Fungia Plate coral, Favia coral, Leptastrea coral, and others. Including SPS, LPS, and Soft corals. The coral growth is amazing when used my way.

    I've been adding a little reef roids in my oatmeal in the morning. I feel a lot better and have even stopped being a coffee drinker. Amazing product.

    I know this is an old video but I watched this 3 months ago and tried it . I don’t normally comment but this works an absolute treat , all my corals weren’t doing much or growing after doing this I’ve had everything double in size and polyps split untold .

    • @BillyPipes
      @BillyPipes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, I stopped doing it for a little while because of it being time consuming. But I started doing it again with some new frags and it really helps them out👍👍

    you can activate other corals feeding response by putting a tiny bit of reef roids in the tank while the flow is going. turn off pumps and feed acans and stuff first, by the time you finish, candy canes and chalices should have their feeders out.

    Thank You! I have always liked the nutritional content of RR but not the mess - I have a nano, so the tank gets dirty fast. I used to spot feed with a turkey baster which still got food everywhere. your trick solved the problem, thanks!

    I stumbled across this video just after you posted it and decided to try it since I was not seeing results from any other feeding method. I would have to battle my fish if I used pellets and some corals would never give a feeding response at all. After a couple weeks of doing it this way, all of my corals, even my ricordea's give an aggressively active feeding response. I have seen a significant improvement in polyp extension and color as well. This has even saved my Sun Coral as I always had a hard time feeding it. Thank you!

    I just tried this tonight for the first time. Wow, thanks man! Cant believe how quick my corals reacted to it. The second the food hits while mixing it this way they react and start to open. Been trying to feed my scolys for a year with RR and mysis and they wouldnt budge! Tonight they opened immediately to eat. Awesome tip!

    I do all my corals like you did the zoa application; acloud floating just above the corals that falls right onto everything since there's no flow. So basically the same technique but 3-4" away from the coral instead of directly onto it. Works very well, but I'd like to see a side by side now that I've seen your method.

I dipped & added them to my tank started using reef roids like this .. now two weeks later they are really coming back strong with a vengeance I've got baby acans growing all over these colonies, subbed :)

    Great video brother. Where did you get that syringe from I have seen it sold just don’t remember where. I have been using it for a while and love it. I like the way you mix it to a thicker paste.

    Sweet vid, i wonder if doing Reef Builders soak technique with this would be extra efficient. Super awesome way to feed, i'm going to try it right now :)
