I have a ‘22 and I’m very satisfied with it. The STX has all the features without the fluff. The next level truck seems to cost around $58,000, so the $46000 price seems fair, especially with the 2.7.
I love my 21 XLT Screw high package 2.7. Had a 5.0 before and the 2.7 sure is better for maintenance and gas mileage and is quick. I’ve experienced 25mpg driving from NY to SC thru mountains and get around 19-20 in city, winter time in temps below 20 degrees it’s about 17-18. I’ve raced my buddys 5.7hemi and got him by almost a full truck length. If you looking for basics can go wrong with an STX. I was looking at an Lariat but opted for XLT high package and was about 10k cheaper and all I’m missing is leather, heated steering wheel, cooled seats, moonroof.
I have a 2020 STX 2.7. I love that little motor and it does well. I also noticed mine gets 17-18 when it gets really cold. Though I was just crazy for a second lol
I have a 2021 STX 3.5 FX4. I’ve been looking for a video with tires like that on the stock 20 rims. They look great so spacers and tires and there I am.
As long as the mark up isn't very extreme, I like this. Kind of going the Town and Country/Wild Willie's Ford route just toned down a bit. Coming from the dealer, still warranties so no worries there. I swear if someone says "Magnuson Moss" again I'll scream.
Had 2020 Ford F-150 5.0 v8 only loud engine but and I broke the driveshaft defective was surprised the 2.7 2021 was faster and quiet got a new one and also had 2.7 2018 man do they move faster then a raptor cause it’s on smaller tires less heavy and best part also a bonus is the gas mpg
Ford is really expensive for what they give you. The Tundra is less than $50k for an SR5 with standard push button start, LED headlights, bed outlet, liner.
@@uttamgala7186 our XLT Maverick at $27K has some better features than the STX lol. LED headlights should be standard. Even Ram still uses halogen bulbs... I don't get it sometimes
I normally abhor Ford, however, all the analog items, the physical key and the shifter on the steering column I absolutely love them all.
Big fan of the column shifter 🙌
Same! Sole reason I bought this same package. I like the physical key also, however I do like keyless entry but not a deal breaker for me.

This is my favorite truck! Nice review Ben.
2022 Ford F-150 stx supercrew cab 4×4 is a cool truck love it
Stx always the only model I'd consider.
Ben the 2.7 is an EcoBoost!!!!
I got a 22 STX with 24k miles a 3.5 EC and a 6.7" bed. Got it for $37k. Love it so far!
Have a 22 king ranch 602A package and I honestly love the STX! What an amazing bargain and still badass!
2022 Ford F-150 XL STX SuperCrew Cab 4X4!

I have 2015 with the 2.7. 189,000 miles and still going strong. Reliability and maintenance cost is very impressive. Drivability very good as well.
I have a 2018 STX supercrew 4x4 with the 2.7. Mine just went over 70K miles. It has been nothing but trooper from day one.
Then why am I constantly hearing do not buy the eco-boost engines. Go with the V8 it will last longer cause of no turbos etc.?
There is no such thing as affordable anymore when you have to pay 50k for one step up from a work truck.
This is what I need with the 5.0, get more towing and payload in a truck like this vs a lariat

Great looking truck for what it is

You can get the STX with the power Tailgate
Nice truck, good video, what would be the difference in standard features on this truck vs. a XLT?
Love that color

the clip transition scared the shit out of me lmao at 0:07
Haha
Nice truck!… Remember when you could buy a truck 10k below msrp?..🤔
Do an off-roading for trail in a truck bro
The tires are nice!
It's amazing how tiny that 2.7 looks under the hood.
For real, it don’t feel tiny though lol
Probably the same when you drop ur pants🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looking at that profile pic you seem to be compensating for yours🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😍
@@marksman4004 maybe its just so big i need the ground clearance 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@atg1338 now all you need to do is convince the ladies instead of me. 🤣🤣🤣
Love the STX line, I have a 2020 STX. It'd be cool if the lightening Pro cam in a STX trim.
It would be cool if they added led lights to the truck. It probably doesnt cost anything more but because they look cooler ford charges more.

100%
yes, you get what you pay for
So do all of them come stock with the leveling kit, leather, and those tires? Or is that what that specific dealer added to it for that build only
Dealer package
beautiful truck but definitely needs the 6 turbo or 5.0
It has the 6 turbo
I have one...average joes should try to be like me
I can get a RWD Lariat for just a couple thousand more...for me, it's the better value. I prefer the chrome on the outside and highway tires.
Me too
I always laugh when people say STX is good value. For 50k you don't even have a manual seat height adjust, let alone LED headlights.

Does that have heated bucket seats in it
Love the color, hate the price 🤔
Lol
Every real truck has a column shifter.
50k for a 2.7 stx is wild Jeez
That's what you get when people start living outside of their means and financing shit they don't need.
I would never buy a key start truck
5:27
needs a leather steering wheel
can anyone let me know what tires those are i couldn’t really hear him like the name and the size
Nitto ridge grappler
Lmao over 50k is “affordable” for pretty much a stock no frills truck
Absolutely ridiculous
Yes, this is a $35k truck tops….
The average Joe can't afford this truck
Ben, you are out of touch with reality
