Having the interview in English is to make it available to a wider range of viewers. Please absorb the content and stop cribbing. Let everybody feel comfortable in whatever they are doing. The secret of enjoying anything is to stop analyzing and start paying attention.
It is atrocious, that during the tamil month Margazhi the interviews are conducted in scratchy english. Are you ashamed of speaking in your mother tongue? Why this hypocracy, when you sing only in our languages. Please avoid giving interviews in tamizh with the persons who interview is a tamizhan. I regret though you sing good, try to promote tamizh, as the great Sanjay Subramanyam do, mind you he is a chartred accountant, that's why he is on top. Respect your mother (tongue) first. Follow MSAmma in this regard. With regret-V.S.Sivaraman, age 70, Hyderabad ( I do not see this among telugus here)
Swathi Sivaraman Sir, with 70 years in this eposode of the journey of life you have not understood NOTHING, nor did you grasp a tiny part of the message from the Art this ladies perform, they bring down the Divine to us, you will find it only in the Heart, it is time for you to open it, it is about true Love, remember samprāpte sannihite kāle nahi nahi rakSHati dukRnkarane!!! I do not speak Tamil, so it was a grace to listen to this interview in english and understand a bit of the magnificent work this ladies do. May the Paramjotir bless you and touch your heart....
We are above the Some Tellugus who do behave that way. Carnatic Music is beyond language. We are happy that we (Tamils) carried the burden during the ecliptic period whem this music was under a grahan. We alwayx thought it as a treasure and had a chance. We always thought it is a treasure of the world though currently confined to TN. But is spreading beyond TN in other southern states. Now it is India and US and UK in off shore. Let us get away from a narrow point of view. Let them speak in whatever language they are comfortable in.
I am extremely blessed to be born in a music-loving family and to enjoy such good music.
I hope I see you both some day here in Brussels!
The Dasarakriti at the end was soooo moving! Entha Punyave, (for me) to listen to you sing this....
RaGa Sisters are an epitome of humility. Namaskarams to them forever!
