I am Marathi .... Don't understand a word of Kanadda or Tamil or Malayalam. I heard their rendition of 'Pandhariche Bhoot Mothe', a Marathi abhang and got hooked ! Wish I could understand southe Indian languages they sing in, but that's not gonna hold me back from listening to them and one day going to their concert !
What a wonderful composition... kodi pranams to papanasam sivam.. what a beautiful rendition by the sisters!! Mind blowing!! I tear up every time I listen to this !! Namaskarams to papanasam Sivan 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
karnatic music....karnam(ear) aatak(pleasing sound) karnatic....pleasing to hear....so just look that.......its not easy..... blessed one can only do that...obviously....
Voices from heaven! Amazing composition rendered with extraordinary finesse, sweetness and clarity through the intricate portions. Scintillating, no less.
Hi. " Dhrishtaandham " splendidly spoken here. Great Shri Papanasam Sivan. Thank you once again all concerned. History repeats again. Great people think alike. My doubt again in another re-birth. Pasuram. " thuppudayaarai adaivathellaam. . . . Appothaikku ippothey solli vaithen arangatharavanai palliyaaney. E and O. E. Paradise in music 🎶. Music 🎶 in paradise. Sariyo.
Basically Hindola ragam makes everyone to be on the edge of their seat. Very vibrating and scintillating performance. Worship the composer and applaud the singers. RaGa decorated this kriti with their own style in Hindolam and attracted everyone. You have occupied everyone's mind with the mesmerism of your singing. Great, no words to say further. Everyone must hear this at least once in a day. A new thought on hearing each time and make the people perfect in their thoughts. Nothing will come to your risque other than the good deeds you did. Pray / worship Lord Shiva to get into eternal life.
RaGa Akkas whenever I here your virutham my eyes filled with tears then the hole song you sang I'll cry and feel that you both bring the god beside of me. It touch my soul
Beautiful sisters Please sing the following song. The almighty God helps you to live a healthy life.
Beautiful rendition even without all the accompanying instruments. I have heard this composition sung by Sri. Maharajapuram Santhanam. One of my favorite singers.
Who came up with some statistics that most of their listeners are tamils? I would think that RAGA are probably the only carnatic singers who have a much wider audience than greater Chennai ! And, why should they not speak in English? Let's talk music guys..
In any language we can listen and appreciate! But when we hear in our own language it becomes mixing jack fruit with mango pulp and honey! Oon urugi uyiril serndadu pola!
I am a great fan of both of you. However, must you speak in English? You two are Tamilians and your audience is 99.9% Tamlilians and it is about Carnatic music -- again mostly Tamils.
I guess that makes me the .01%. American traditional musician who is fascinated with Carnatic music. I play Irish fiddle and other traditional styles, but find Carnatic music to be a new intriguing passion. Thank you for reaching out to the world with your beautiful music!
excuse me, but carnatic music is not TAmizh music. BEsides when did you do stats on their audience. they are catering to global audience.and doing an amazing job in that. keep your petty thoughts to yourself.
what a narrow mindset. Tamilians. Please grow up. Accept other cultures and languages. You people miss a lot of things in life because you totally refuse others. Expand your vision and heart

Please sing the following song. The almighty God helps you to live a healthy life.

I like the way they sing Marathi Abhangas, thereafter I listen other collections even if I don't understand language
I started listening to their renditions after listening to the marathi abhang, which is not my language. Music has no language 😊

A humble request mam please keep the sruti box little low volume. It was jarring.
Se him to all or people
Background music is too loud, the shruti box,I mean!
never expected such a leading artist in this image seen on this stage at least cameraman --?
what stage? They are singing probably in their home. How does it make any difference. Just hear the music.
I definitely agree with your comments voice and music is most important then any other things

THIS NARROW INTERPRETATION OF CARNATIC MUSIC REFLECTS THE NARROW MINDED
what a narrow mindset. Tamilians. Please grow up. Accept other cultures and languages. You people miss a lot of things in life because you totally refuse others. Expand your vision and heart
thodilover I am french and fan of karnatic music, particularly Ranjani & Gayatri. Good music speaks to the heart and has no frontier.
Would suggest, not to publish this anymore, it might tarnish the traditional image of the leading artists seen on the stage.
thats sad that you are so backward thinking and your crooked mind. they are singing so divinely sitting down, whats not traditional about this.
I know, these days one who doesn't wear trousers, or consume Alcohol or talk about tradition is tagged backward.
such a boring song
SriRanjani Vaidyanathan ur metaphysically deaf,so u Cannot enjoy this music ,this one beyond Ur taste
Nobody asked you . You are not worth enough to listen to this . Get lost .
The moment u started "Nambi kettavar evarayya" from virutham made me sink in tears :)
Excellent
