Check out Wolfe Ridge Website Below for more information. Melissa and I split some nice cherry rounds and tossed them right into Top Dog Firewood Bucket on the Kubota MX 5400

@@realairplane261 you can buy the aerosol cans, or you can purchase a Woolwax undercoating gun and buy the Fluid Film in gallon cans. That's the most economical way of using it, but it limits you to where your air hose length. I have aerosol can in the workbenche and one in the camper, otherwise, I use it through the Woolwax gun.

It’s way more machine than I’ll ever need but every time you show it, I can’t help but think, hmmm, I wonder how I could justify the cost to my wife.
Melissa - I almost spit my coffee out at the splitter’s full comment. I got the reference immediately but I still enjoyed you acting it out. Love the channel and I wanted to say hello to Hunter!

74 thumbs down? Whiskey tango foxtrot? While this was not the most riveting content I've ever seen, it showcased a very fine machine built by a small business owner. This dude, despite onerous regulations and bales of red tape has employed numerous people to produce a quality product. Thomas Jefferson said it very well: "That government governs best which governs least." Here endeth the sermon.

That WolfRidge splitter looks perfect. The log lift is a back saver, but I think the real back saver is the height of the splitter. No constant bending over, then picking up the pieces from the ground after being split. Wonderful design. Should feel great after a days work, sitting back looking at the huge job just completed with a frosty mug! Root beer that is.... Great video Morgans.

    Good morning Morgan's.
    That is a great splitter.
Love all the features it has.
I pulled the trigger on a new splitter about a month ago.
Looked at a lot of different ones. WolfRidge was one of them. Price was just a bit out of my range.. like you said it's not for everyone. I only do 5 cord a year so I could not justify the money.
So I looked at Rugged Made.
    It made more sense.
Just doesn't have the adjustable wedge.
Like Melissa my wife loves to run it.. and it's great we get to work together. ❤With the four-way wedge it is so much faster then what I had for 40 years hahahahah
I have rambled on enough. Hahah
    Keep up the great videos.
    You have a great Chanel.
    Your very Blessed.
Stay safe and always be kind.
    Have a Day.

My wife and I had a similar story to your paddle boats except it was bicycles in yosemite. We thought we had been out for more than an hour we were winded because we are getting old, out of shape and the bikes had only 1 gear for the extreme ups and down of the road. We had only been gone about 20 mins the guy at the bike rental laughed and wouldn't even charge us.

My brother purchased this exact model of log splitter after watching your channel. Chris dropped it off when returning from the Paul Bunyan show the next year after you had yours. My wife and I went to visit and helped split 2 chords of wood in an afternoon. This splitter never broke a sweat, never stalled, never got jammed. We did find the same thing with the 6 way wedge. the top wedge actually gets in the way on certain sized wood. if you move the wedge low enough to get nice size out of the bottom, it is just low enough the top 2 wedges come into play and peel kindling off the top. if you raise it high enough to take the top wedges out of the equation, now the wedge is high enough that the pieces out of the bottom are too large.

I have chainsaws, John Deere 4wd tractor, have used log splitters for years from local rental place. I live in Northeast Ohio in semi rural to houses in developments. I have friends in the tree business, mostly trimming or cutting down, especially after a storm. I do not want to buy and resell firewood but do you think there is a market for going over to someone's home and splitting there downed trees (I could cut into rounds) split and stack it for them. I do like Wolf Ridge. If so, do you think there is a market for this kind of service? Your thoughts on an hourly rate? Thanks so much for any imput. Richard.

Wow sorry but I struggle to digest all the wasted work. Unhook it from quad (or whatever it is) and feed them right into the bucket. High production firewood and that splitter ram should about never make it all the way back to stop. Feed it in and it pushes through prior pieces you all keep fiddling with. Even if piled on the ground it would take a few seconds for the two of you to fill the bucket by hand. Looking for a high production. In the 90's at half price we did good jobs with bad jobs and a steady 8cords a day with 2 guys, skidded, cut, split and delivered. Good site was 16 cords a day and as the skidder/cutter I would be done by 2:00. Its possible guys and at twice the price should be quite lucrative.

I've seen others put a light drizzle of hydraulic fluid or lubricant at the start of a splitting operation, but I would think a liquid to provide lube would work just as well. Really liked the music in the background of the splitting also. Great sound and rhythm.

Nice machine. The only dislike I have is the lever for actuating the splitter is tucked behind the log lift and splitter adjustment when working from non log lift side. To me it would make more sense to have the Ram lever first in line ( closest to the operator ) as it gets the most use, then the splitter and furthest away would be the log lift.

Having split firewood all my life, that Wolfe Ridge is one of the best splitters I've seen. I'll bet that you'll be happy to store it in the new building when not in use to get it out of the weather.

As a Wisconsin full blooded native, I'd like to add, were known for our huge well managed forests, plentiful clean waters and our tough hard working citizens as well. Gotta be tough to live in Wi.

Shawn, I was in Alaska a few years ago and while talking to the natives, I told them that I lived in Upper most Wisconsin, they replied, “it is too cold there”.

Hi Mike! The hose fittings on the Wolf Ridge looks like my company’s. I worked 51 years for a company called CPV in Philadelphia. Those elbows should say CPV on the side if they are ours. Could you mention in one of your videos if they are ? Love the Videos. Thanks Russ. Boyer

We have only had our wolferidge for a while but WOW is it awesome. I got it after seeing you use yours and I am so glad I did. It was more then I wanted to spend but now that I have it I'm so glad I spent the money. Every time I use it it saves me HOURS of work over using our old "homestore" style splitter. I can easily do a cord an hour. You can tell Chris you for SURE sold me on his splitters and got him another sale!

Good afternoon Morgan's! I hope everyone in the universe is having a great Sunday. There's so much hatred, negativity, and division in this world right now it's mind boggling. We all have our ups and downs in life but we must seek the positives.
Just remember that you don't have to look far to find someone that's worse off then you.
Help someone out today whether it's manual labor, a nice guester, change, compliment or just a smile. Be safe, be nice, and have a blessed Sunday. Be thankful all.

9 minutes in & I see an improvement I'd like to have -- basically, turn the whole rig around on the trailer part, or put the trailer hitch on the other end, such that the split wood would fall off the back end, away from your tow vehicle, hitch, et al.
That way, you needn't let your processed wood pile up around the back of the tow vehicle. And, simultaneously give you room for the dump end to fall off onto a conveyor, thereby you won't have to stop periodically to clear up working room. Plus, judicious placement of the conveyor would let it build a wood pile during the processing. Make sense?
