You guys put our the nicest firewood processing equipment on the planet. This thing is nasty fast. My favorite kind of firewood is the stuff sitting in the woodshed, already processed, doesn't matter the species as long as it's finished.
One thing your splitters do like no other, is make the biggest smile when you see them running. This one even makes you shake your head in amazement. I split red and white oak exclusively.
Free wood is my favorite wood. So free wood is my favorite to split. Most of it is popular cotton. I sometimes run into ash elm. There no good hard wood here mainly pine if want to go get it. Great splitter.
I run a tree service in Maine and our favorite wood to process is 30 inch straight grained red oak. We can get a cord out of the 7 way box wedge and up the conveyor in 17 min if everything is perfect. Some of the skinny pieces that fall out the debris separator get bagged for kindling.
My dad and both burn outside wood burners we cut and split our own wood we use all kinds of wood but yes Oaks are good but I use oak, poplar, Aspen because we have a lot of it, also use a lot pine which I have no issues with, Kevin from ohio
@@benjaminhenke4474 its easy for me to say be patient because I now have mine but I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this machine this is the heaviest built machine I have ever seen and besides the wear items it will last at least 4 or 5 lifetimes
Nothing like a nice piece of White Ash! Even dripping wet it dries fast in the wind. Typically six months in the pile, well covered and it's ready to burn.
Hickory is what I have the most of. but I have 45 acres of mixed hardwoods. Most of my stuff is over 16" and closer to 24" We have maple, cherry, several oaks, poplar,
Me personally I don’t have a personal favorite wood to split. I love when it’s tight straight grain and it pops when you split it on the splitter that’s my favorite kind. Almost any wood can be awe full to split you just never know. Always a pleasure to watch.
My favorite wood is what makes the customer happy and pays the Bill's. Oh let's not forget buys the beers.
