Hi: Kevin I do enjoy your videos, I like your style, some of the others I feel I'am being hustled. And I know what I speak of. Keep up the good work, low key style really works on somebody who ran companys his whole life. Be well, Jack
This is a really good looking watch ! The drilled lugs are very useful when swapping straps. The sapphire insert is just great. I think I have a couple of watches with that type of bracelet screws. The bracelet is a bit thin against the case thickness, the wr doesn't really justify that thickness. I guess the small case diameter compensates against the thickness. The lune is insane ! I would prefer a rachet clasp and for a few $ more they could deliver better looks. No need to mention other micro brands at similar prices that offer a better package. Still it's a very nice watch. I would love to see this one in black. Thanks Kevin for one more honest and we'll worded review, stay safe.
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it. I think 13 mm or maybe 14 mm is about my max for watch thickness. I guess with short sleeves it does not really matter, but it just looks odd to me with a 38 mm diameter watch, and 15.4 mm thick.
@@WrongTimeWatch look at it this way, a large diameter watch will look like a skillet on small wrists, while a smaller but taller , will look sporty. A 38mm on a large wrist (especially a diver watch) will look small but it's thickness will give to it wrist appearance. Imo it's a versatile model for a wide range of wrist sizes. Btw, it does look great on you, and I still want to see a black version.
@@WrongTimeWatch yours is by far better, no crown guards, way better dial and a clean bracelet. You see...when jubilee was introduced on the batman, never bothered...I know you love your skx but no offense, I don't like the jubilee on sports watches, especially divers. I do own a watch with rise beads bracelet but in my eyes, it's very different from the jubilee. You got a winner there Kevin, keep it !
Hey that’s my watch! I swapped the bezel insert for the black lumed ceramic from Marc and it’s been a work horse. Pretty too. Keep up the great content!
Agreed, as primo as sapphire is in Yema, Oris and others I rarely like the look of it. If you can find a green ceramic that would talk this guy to 11/10 for me. Good stuff.
I have this exact model from long island watches. The Lume on this watch is fantastic and the best out of all 50 watches I own. Good watch just feels a little small for my 6.75in wrist for a diver
@@juniorjohnson5961 haha, yeah, too many, but bought about 15 cheap quartz watches on Wish for less than $100 at the beginning of my collection journey 1.5yrs ago and then found TH-cam. Now purchasing all automatics with my latest purchase of the Omega Seamaster 300m 2 months ago

Thank you I appreciate the feedback. Yea, I am not looking to sell anyone anything, just sharing my experience with watches.
I had an Islander ISL-10. It is a great watch. Keep Rocking those Watches Kevin 🤘🏻
Thank you. Yeah, he puts out some good watches.

I should see if he makes a Green LCBI, the sapphire bezel kind of cheapens the look. Thank your for the kind words.

Hi Kevin. Interesting Presesentation. Thank you and greetings to everybody! I like the timepiece.

50 watches 😲 I thought I had a lot with 17 .

The lume really surprised me. I really like this watch, but wish it was the SKX007 size. The watch is too thick for its diameter.
Wow, nice pick up with the Seamaster. I will buy one eventually.
I luv this watch.Mine keeps -1sec/day and the fit and function is outstanding.
Fine review Sir.
Thank you very much
Wow! I asked for and you did it👌👌.
I was just looking for your previous comment to let you know.
@@WrongTimeWatch don't worry..... I'm already your subscriber : )
Thank you. I appreciate it.
hey kevin, Marc is Marketing it as a 13mm thick watch. you say it's 15mm🙄
It is definitely 15.4 mm, I measured it twice.
Although Marc’s watches have upgraded components as compared to their Seiko counterparts, they are definitely thicker.
Which is unfortunate, as I don't really care for the added thickness.
i think the domed sapphire crystal is the reason for additional 2mm thickness. his other islander 38mm watches have flat sapphire crystal.
That could very well be possible, but he could have updated the listing to show that.
