What I love about 11 is how he combined 9 and 10 so well.. he had 10s playful silliness and soft heart, but he also had 9s Warrior spirit and blazing hate. Back at my old school when it was the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who they changed the school bell to the normal theme song and this theme It was so cool
This song elicits speech such a strong emotion within me. It is full of nostalgia, hope, fear, strength and honestly a bit of badassery. It is just perfection and looking back on matt’s time as the doctor, it makes me want to cry. But you have this middle very chippy part that reminds you of how the doctor can be a little bit childish and light hearted, but then it gets back into the “don’t mess with me” part. Just genius composition

He is the protector of time, he can stay in his mind where a few seconds of our reality is years old to him to overcome the enemy. He knows secrets that must never be told. I love what he said about his strategy right before he regenerated: "I don't have a plan. Talk fast, hope something good happens, take the credit. That's generally how it works." When I heard that, I burst out laughing and thought, "Yep!"
This is a much better line than the one about "basically, run." It says more about what the Doctor is truly, frighteningly capable of than anything else. 🥺
It took me rewatching the show to figure out that "Basically, run" is the one quote that never left the Doctor throughout his regenerations! Yes, the 11th is mainly know to have the quote from his first episode, but if you rewatch the show from the 9th doctor up, you hear this line repeated constantly! But with this song they really made it stand out!

Helping someone with their homework is so much more fun with this theme. ***** I liked all doctors because they all have their quirks which make them unique. I was angry when Tennent became the new doctor but he turned out amazing. When Matt Smith came along I kinda thought he was too pretentious but he also excedded my expectations. I have yet to see how the new doctor is but I'm sure I will like him just as much as the past doctors. Its funny because he has been used in the who-verse twice as two different characters.

The best theme. 11th doctor was so much more out there than the others. He was tough, and sad, and he was always running. His story was fast pace and crazy and wild and his theme song reflects that.
Truly I would say it was Steven Moffat's Genius work! One side Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Other side Matt Smith as Doctor and giving us fast pace witty dialogues with perfect story telling, we were most lucky to watch them and enjoy.

Whether played by William Hartnell or Peter Capaldi, Tom Baker or David Tennant, Jonathan Pertwee or Matt Smith, he is and always will be the Doctor. As a modern who fan, Matt Smith era was the best for me, just because of the music. Something about the upbeat and fast pace is enjoyable and fun to watch.
I am actually working on something with a buddy but we don't know when we can release anything or if you'll be interested in this kind of thing but it will definitively be great!
Probably I'm weird but I've never saw any seasons without Matt Smith. For me dr who is Matt Smith I know the series is build on the premise that the doctor switches but I couldn't even get over Amy and Rorys death so when Matt Smith was gone I just stopped watching. 😂 today I started to rewatch again ^^
I started watching with the 9th doctor but I was like 4 then so I really got into it by the time Matt Smith came around. Most of my memories of Doctor Who are Matt Smith and I loved the version of the Doctor he played. I also LOVED Rory and Amy when I was a kid and I also was devastated by their deaths. I ended up really liking Clara as well though and found her story interesting. Peter Capaldi was also a cool Doctor, but not as cool as 11. I love Jody Whittaker’s outfit but I’m not a huge fan of her Doctor. She can’t beat the previous two. Also, I miss Missy. the new Master sucks. I loved Missy and the Doctors romantic tension.

I always called this 'the running song' :p I once came back froma con with a friend, she was dressed as Amy and I was dressed as Clara (Oswin Oswald CLara) and we nearly missed our train, so we had to run as fast as we could. ***** I liked all doctors because they all have their quirks which make them unique. I was angry when Tennent became the new doctor but he turned out amazing. When Matt Smith came along I kinda thought he was too pretentious but he also excedded my expectations. I have yet to see how the new doctor is but I'm sure I will like him just as much as the past doctors. Its funny because he has been used in the who-verse twice as two different characters.

The best theme. 11th doctor was so much more out there than the others. He was tough, and sad, and he was always running. His story was fast pace and crazy and wild and his theme song reflects that.
Truly I would say it was Steven Moffat's Genius work!
One side Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Other side Matt Smith as Doctor and giving us fast pace witty dialogues with perfect story telling, we were most lucky to watch them and enjoy.
The 11ths adventures were something else. Episodes that felt like filler were always tied in to the overall plot. Fantastic writing.
This is the only song that I have ever heard that speaks of only one thing. Hope.

Probably I'm weird but I've never saw any seasons without Matt Smith. For me dr who is Matt Smith I know the series is build on the premise that the doctor switches but I couldn't even get over Amy and Rorys death so when Matt Smith was gone I just stopped watching. 😂 today I started to rewatch again ^^
I started watching with the 9th doctor but I was like 4 then so I really got into it by the time Matt Smith came around. Most of my memories of Doctor Who are Matt Smith and I loved the version of the Doctor he played. I also LOVED Rory and Amy when I was a kid and I also was devastated by their deaths. I ended up really liking Clara as well though and found her story interesting. Peter Capaldi was also a cool Doctor, but not as cool as 11. I love Jody Whittaker’s outfit but I’m not a huge fan of her Doctor. She can’t beat the previous two. Also, I miss Missy. the new Master sucks. I loved Missy and the Doctors romantic tension.
