The Eleventh doctor is my favourite incarnation, but he also had the best theme.
The original had a jaunty quality that captured him well, but I always wanted a more serious and focused version for the absolute unit he could be. Well done, fantastic work.
He was my favorite as well...he brought so much energy to the role

Same here, he had that quality of being a 8 year old in a grown up body and the whole 'your imaginary friend is real' vibe seals the deal. :D
I prefer David tenant but I really liked Matt smith as the doctor. The only thing that holds him back is the disaster that is Amy.
11 was the best doctor ever, greatest cast, greatest stories, best of the best.

I have to disagree completely. Season 5-6 weren’t good in my opinion and the only reason is because of Amy. She’s one of the worst characters in any tv series I’ve ever watched and Rory was just comically dumb. Season 7 was really good though. I prefer ten but Matt Smith did a really good job with 11, if it weren’t for Amy he might be my favorite.

I just love Matt’s Doctor, the youngest and the oldest, the ultimate old soul and child, the mad man in a box, the incoming storm. The Doctor truly.

This might be the best doctor theme. Its the only one I actually remember although 10 had a good one too I believe.
Whenever I wasn't watching Doctor Who, I was playing this theme on repeat.
tbf they did play this theme in nearly every episode, so it wasnt hard to remember
All New Who Doctors have recognisable theme music, 11's was just played a *lot*
Don't forget Twelve's Theme, A Good Man?. All of them are great though, honestly. Murray Gold is GOAT.
@@rosechuma2006 Way too much imo. I like 12th's more cause the guy varied it WAY more than 11's theme, but that's due to moffat wanting prominence in the motifs rather than a lot of variations.
I ALWAYS noticed the similarities between I Am The Doctor and Mass Effect 2's Suicide Mission
iirc, moffat is confessed in an interview that he's a fan of mass effect. and there was a thing that 12 fought when he was the school janitor at coal hill where clara and danny taught classes. quadriped machine with a humanoid torso. had laser sniper rifles for arms. upper body and head were shaped suspiciously like garrus' arch angel helmet.

I was listening to music while lifting. My best was 10 reps, 160 pounds. My arms felt like they were going to give out. Then this music came on my shuffle. I was at 7 in my 10 reps. Something inside me told me, "You can do it. Make the doctor proud." And I pushed myself to keep going. I got past 10, then 11, then 12 , and when the music was done, and so was I. But not till I made it to 20. A personal best.
This statement made me cringe so bad but smashed it on the lift proud of you boss 😂😅

This is unbelievably awesome. Matt smith and David Tennent are my favourite versions of the doctor . Smith’s era of doctor definitely brought the series to a epic level and I love it .

I love the grandiosity of this version of the song. My personal favorite version, which I've always felt underrated, is the version "Up the Shard" from The Bells of St. John. It only lasts a few seconds, but Gold decided to just randomly throw in some trumpets for that one scene and that fanfare just makes it *chef's kiss
Man the Matt Smith era, David Tennet era, Christopher Eccelston era, and even Peter Capaldi's era to me is Doctor Who that I don't think we'll ever get again. The new who just ain't gonna come anywhere near this and that's what I find a little sad but hey, they can make the new who for whoever their new audiance is because clearly it's no longer for me. But they can't take this away. Geronimo!

It's the Suicide Mission track, which I am The Doctor and The Majestic Tale were actually based off (you can really hear the similarities when you listen to Majestic Tale)
