Catching back to back shad on artificials using light tackle, some of the funnest fishing I've done in a while! All near Fletcher's boathouse, in the nations capital.
@@jimmerfishingtv4330 I have found the best thing to catch them is a tandem rig with both a shad dart and small shad spoon tied off it. Another option is a 1/16 oz jig with the shad spoon tied of it. As you mentioned, the key is to be able cast far and let it sink. A light or light medium with 6 pound test is the probably the best-unfortunately I only have a medium with 8 lb test and an UL with 4 pound-both work, but something in the middle would be ideal. When they are running thick like that, its so much fun!
Yo thank you for your videos! Really inspired me to go fishing!
Great work on the video and the fishing
Thanks 👍
Awesome video and greetings from New Zealand Trout anglers,, Tony.
Thanks 👍
Awesome video brother
You said people catch snakehead on the potomac and I was wondering where you were talking about
It’s directly under chain bridge on the Potomac side they like snagging them there
@@jimmerfishingtv4330 damn that’s fucked up
What lure where you using. I went there for 7 jour and i just had 1 bite
Spoon work well
I was using shad darts this day but a good 1/32 oz spoon will get you a lot of bites! Have to be able to cast far enough to get to them
