      Thank you! This feels like such a long time ago now, definitely going to make an updated suspension install video soon

    I have the same car, just slammed it on coilovers as well, I went super cheap on the coilovers, which, I'll see how that goes, but I definitely recommend getting a decent 18volt lithium ion impact gun, if it wasn't for harbor frieght special I would have had to cut the sway bar link as well. It speeds up almost everything even if you just use it for removing bolts that would get overtightened if you used it to drive them in.

    Recently I installed maxpeedrod coilovers and I hear clunking coming from the driver side whenever I hit a small bumb, could it be my sway bar links?

    • @WillChang
      @WillChang  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sway bar links would be the first thing I check!

      Still like how it was when I installed them and dialed them in, besides some cosmetic wear and tear that comes from use, they still perform like new

      This is tempting me to lower my 05 corolla. Did you ever find out what that clicking noise was?

    • @johnmcminn9455
      @johnmcminn9455 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was thinking of lowering just the rear slightly to get the steering a little smoother .

    Do you still run these? I have a 2012 Camry SE (check my channel) and I’m wondering if they dropped your car low enough and did they uphold? Are they adjustable?

    • @WillChang
      @WillChang  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, still running them to this day, just be sure you maintain them well, especially up here in the rustbelt area. I'll be honest I neglected to clean as nearly as often as I should've so rust has formed on the coils so just make sure you take good care of them. They still work perfectly fine though. Thanks for the comment!

    Funniest thing about the video is it's not even a 5 speed. I have a 03 corolla S and debated dropping money into it. I bought $1500 sparco rims for it and was thinking about dropping it to put the icing on the cake. But c'mon now man it's an automatic. It's almost as cool as a Prius like tf

    • @WillChang
      @WillChang  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I love manual transmissions as much as the next guy, but there’s nothing wrong with an automatic lol, a car can still be fun even without rowing through the gears. I am planning out a 6 speed and LSD swap for this car though.
