I remember back in 2006 I was on a British Airways flight from MAN-LHR and when I got talking to a guy beside me I saw he had books and things and as I did a quick glance I noticed it was airline related so I asked what he did for a job and told me he was a Pilot for BA who flew the 747. I told him that I was a plane geek and he talked me through the approach as we came into land. He gave me a booklet with SID/STAR aerodrome information and after we landed and was about to give it back he said I could keep it as it was out of date anyway, then we went our separate ways. I still have it.
Great video! I spent almost 8 years flying the 75/67. It's the best transport category jet I've flown. At 5:34 the engine speed subtly increases as the crew turns off the engine anti-ice.
Love the 757, it is a great machine! I'm from Indy and have watched this airport grow and grow. I grew up right by it when it was Weir Cook, years ago. Made me a little homesick seeing this. Enjoyed your video!
In the 80s, the only jets I had flown on were the 727, 737-200 and the DC-9. The first time in a 757, the rate of climb kicked in the back of my seat! So much power.
Always loved the 757. I could be wrong, but I think it has the largest thrust to weight ratio of any passenger jet. I fueled them for about 8 years and the pilots always told me they could easily take off with one engine if need be. Those things were like rocket ships on the climb out.
Early morning 🌻🌄 Headstart? Or Evening 🌆 Flight ✈️? I'm guessing Evening based on the fading daylight Guessing Takeoff basically to the West based on the turn to the South towards the ATL! Either way stunning video! Those Pratts are where it's at!
When i fly i usually fly on southwest one of the times after taking off out of omaha hit turbulence due to thunderstorms on the final approach into Chicago midway they came in for a landing super fast and slam on the breaks to slow the plane down
The L1011 was my favorite jet to fly, followed by the sleek efficiency of the 757. 737Max just seems ridiculously over-engineered which may explain its problems. It's the DC10 of our age.
Man, take off thrust all the way, screw any noise abatement procedures, lol. I read somewhere that the written test for dispatcher has a lot of the same questions at the ATP written exam.
Have an idea. If you want here so much and the obstacle of her coming to Italy maybe someone needs to think about other people Can. If you truly love her

I like how the video is 7:57 in terms of length, how fitting!
Pure coincidence!
Just what I wanted to comment haha
I loved flying this jet! It really pushes you into your seat compared to other jets
The 7 5 is a great airplane.
They should all be designed this way. In thrust we trust. Should be the defining characteristic

Beautiful Panorama _ Thank You :))
Absolutely nothing like the P&W 757's! such an amazing airplane!

Sweet takeoff man! Love the 75s! 😁✈️✈️
Love that the video is 7:57 long lol
The 757 is arguably the best airliner of its era... maybe even still.
Great video! Loved it!
Best sounding engine any aircraft
It’s just this thing with Boeing with their planes that look so cool
Love the growl. I'm at IND
Boeing 757: Awesome Roar

Correct, it was evening!

That is correct, the written focuses on ATP questions. Not going to be easy but it’ll be worth it in the end.
Good luck my dad is a pilot I’m a middle schooler and I want to be a pilot
I love flying best place to be in the world is in a airplane or airport I always say that
I can’t wait till I’m training to be a pilot too
PW2000 engine sound B757 200er
Feel like that’s an odd place for 757 to go.
*POWER*
It was dark in Indianapolis.
WATCH IN HD 1080P ONLY
3700 rpm

Sounds like a GE engine.

take off 3:10
Jet noise. If it's too loud, you're too.old.
The production of Boeing 757 was a mistake.
We’d never be friends 😂
