So far my only experience with the Commissariat in 40K is Ciaphas Cain (currently reading The Greater Good), but I gather that he’s a special case of the exception proving the rule
“The Guard needed soldiers of that calibre, and if I had to bend a few regulations to keep them standing between me and whatever the warp might be about to vomit up at us, I’d make origami out of the rulebook without a second thought.”- Ciaphus Cain Hero of the Imperium
I never thought I'd see Ibram Gaunt on this channel, and then Remembrancer gives not one, but two harder than hell Gaunt quotes. Stupendous! Men and women of the Imperium, do you want to live forever?!
Dan Daly is one of two united states marines to earn two medals of honor (americas highest reward for valor in battle) he was a lowly sergeant in the battle of Belleau wood in world War 1. After all the leadership was wiped out Dan was the highest ranking solider on the field that day. He fixed bayonets told his men "come on you sons of bitches, do you want to live forever?" And charged the German lines. The broke through the German lines and routed the German company they had been fighting for 2 or 3 weeks
Its nice getting a more in depth look at the commisars. I feel like its easy to look over the boost to morale and inspiration that they bring to the battlefield and often the focus is on simply the harsh discipline and execution of deserters although in fairness the latter does tend to be a large part of their duties lol
RIP yarrick, a guy so goddamn good at what he does, *even during what should've been his retirement mind you,* that even the fucking abstract concept the orks worship so highly literally said "yeah no he's a real one" and the guy who, in his death, will probably be the guy who IRONICALLY ENOUGH probably help MAKE AN ALLIANCE WITH MAN AND ORK just to kill whoever (probably) killed him. Yes big E you SHOULD make him a living saint so he can keep fighting ghaz and help to try and get the orks to maybe even form alliances when needed, I'm a normal dude (the emperor is the literal concept of fucking order as said by the chaos spectrum corrupted abstract avatars) and even I can see how good that would be for the imperium's future.
I want a story about the least battle-honoured, longest surviving loyalist chapter. This chapter isn't very committed... They're not disloyal, they're not cowardly. They're just kind of... Lazy. What would those marines be like? Whose progenitor? What name and colours? Like, no... They're not joining Chaos... Nurgle looks itchy, seems like you're busy doing a lot of drugs and partying with Slannesh, Tzeentch demands study and you have to collect too much skulls with Khorne. It's all kinda... Effortful. No... We're not gonna go fight that Waaagh! We all just cleaner the armour and it took like six months, and the world looks kind of muddy... No battle honours on Terra. No serious betrayers. Not seriously incompetant so they get wiped out just kinda... Background Marines.
My brother had a gusrdmen army, its 4 baneblades and a commisar glue to the top of one. I find the idea of him being there so funny, like is he gonna execute a whole damn tank for cowardice?
In the grim dark there are two names and two only that embody the very essence of what it takes to be called commissar those to names? Yarak and Cain in that order and nuff sed
@@o.w.n.1327 I'll have to go back and find it, but all the other paths out of the Schola Progenium are open to everybody. Only guys go to the Officio Prefectus.
My boy sure knows how to time his videos😂 darktide bolt pistol and comissar hat gets released, so naturally it's time for commissar video
Truly he is the greatest of the emperor's remembrancers. Ofc we all already know this.
Naturally: MY guards are tired and heresy-less. I also own a lead-cast Yarrick. 3rd edition fam rise up!
I’m waiting for my tempestus scions armor for darktide but I’m settling for commissar.
The greatest fear of a commissar is not the enemy but to be fragged by there own troops when maintaining discipline.
Especially from Catachan.

Play the early warhammer pc games. 😅 Youll get really familiar with their duties
Lol, me too. Binging Cain's story rn 😂
Dreadnoughts: "Even in death, I still serve"
Ciaphas Cain: "Hold my Amasec"
After the battle's over
Unflappable Jürgen : Tanna sir ?
*Waiting patiently for the eventual elucidation of Lord Miltant Commissar Ibram Gaunt*

Which book of the Gaunt's Ghosts does the first quote comes from again? I'm trying to remember after having read all 15 books

As a Kreig enjoyer "Commissar? You mean handler."
Do the death korps even need a commissar?
@@danielkamal5575 Yes to keep them from sacrificing their life to the God-Emperor too quickly.
Yarrick gonna be the ork god of death!
Ci-Ci-Ciaphas Cain! Heeeero of the Imperium
CIAPHAS CAIN, HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!

did you just say man and ork alliance? Someone go get the commisar, there is heresy afoot.
Unironically the commissar would hang you for saying human ork alliance 😂
Ya don't go killin' an Orks grod. 'Specially if'n it happens ta be Ghazkuls. I'm lookin' at you, ya big red git!
Your end of video message always hits home. Thank you Commissa- I mean, Rememberencer
Hope you do a full month of remarkable Commisars like Cain, Gaunt, Yarrick and others who dont shine much in the light
I can't promise a month for them, but I will certainly Elucidate them all!
@@TheRemembrancer Start with "Commissar Week" and end it with Cain to get that smooth segue into "Inquisitor Week" starting with Amberley.
Great video. Just got done with all the Ciaphus Cain books, and this very rigid informational video is a great accompaniment
I feel a strong bond with Ciaphus Caine for some reason. 🤔
Ciaphas Cain? Don’t you mean Commissar Edmund Blackadder and his aide Gunner Baldrick?
I am reading The Founding right now and just passed by that Ibram Gaunt quote in the beginning of this video last night. Absolute chad.
Great stuff man.

"DER KOMISSAR'S IN TOWN!"
AH OHH OHH!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Need to see more interaction between commissars and arbites,
The old bale eye.
Great information, excellent presentation. Cain is annoying, Gaunt is a danger magnet, and Yarrick…is unnecessarily exaggerated.
Please do a video on the Geno 52 Chilliad

The opening speech by Gaunt on being a commissar, isn’t that from Gaunt's Ghosts Book 3 Necropolis?

Discipline, humility, self reflection, criticism These are the things I take in consideration, carrying out the Emperors well.😐
...Praise the Emperor, & pass the ammunition!

I'd be down with being demoted to Rogue Trader crew.

Its a realization of a meme of a picture of the same. It goes something like, "Bring me closer, so i may hit them with my sword."
YARRICK LIVES!

Seems extremely suspect that you are able to spot out so many videos all the time. Are these made with help of an ai?
We do not use Abominable Intelligence here, only hard work and the Emperor's grace.
Technically wouldn't the highest rank they could achieve be the 1st Lord Executor.
I love how art shows females commisars, when they are entirely male...but hey, Retcon lore and shit. Lol😅
Where does it say they are all male?
