While I was in Iraq I had to explain to one of the dudes in my platoon that women aren't pregnant for 13 months... dude later slashed up his arm and was evac'd out of theater.
Yeah unfortunate fact of life for a lot of military dudes. Lessons on Jody and why you shouldn't get married until you're out of the military should be part of every boot camp course, right next to lessons on how to burn poop and why you shouldn't buy a Mustang at 22% interest.

Had a platoon Sgt come home mid tour leave to surprise his wife. Instead he killed her along with the guy who was living with her while he was gone... Still in Leavenworth
It happens. I've seen the opposite scenario as well: soldier goes TDY for a few weeks, cheats on his wife multiple times. "What goes TDY stays TDY". A cheater's gonna cheat, regardless if they're military, civilian or whatever.

Had a dude sent home early from Kandahar because his wife just up and left the kids in the house (little ones like 5 or so) and took off with no trace.
I'm a simple man. I see A Combat Veterans new video, and I watch it.
I love how he looks at the camera and says “did you hear that?”
We got home from deployment and my buddy caught his wife in bed with another dude. He killed him, his wife, and his self. An hour after we got back.
This was like a bad porno intro that never ended 😂💯

This hurts my soul in a real way. My best friend raised a kid that wasn't his for 3 years with this exact situation. Also heartwarming end he got custody of not his kid because he claimed her legally before he knew and the whore + "dad" were druggies. She is a great kid at 7 now. You're the shit Dylan. Great man.
I’m reading the comments and people expressing this is a common occurrence. I am really sorry to all the veterans that have been in this position. I don’t know who these women are, but they should be ashamed of themselves. I really hope you find a woman out there who really will look after you, and wait for your return safely. There are decent women out there, just hang on in there and you’ll find her. I just want to thank each and everyone one of you for your duty for your country. I may be British but I still admire all you service men and women from the US. God bless you all, and wishing each one of you a happy, and healthy life. Thank you 😊

This is so true. Happened all the time when I was in the military. Those bars would fill up with wives and girlfriends just as soon as those wheels were up on those planes. Jody was happy. I returned home early for medical reasons and surprised my girlfriend by going over to her place. Jody walked in while I was there and he did not even knock. Serious b*lls on that Jody pulling that on a paratrooper returning from the desert.
