I’m almost positive the NFL asked for Vicks jersey to put in Canton for a display of his stat line.

Why was kolb in the game to begin with
At the time I think he was somewhat decent, McNabb was gone, and this was Vick's first or second season back from prison.
The eagles drafted him a couple years back and never got a really good look at him before 2009 if I remember correctly and Mike vick wasn't really used as a qb just yet he was more or ig a taysom hill at the time
Kolb was already there prior to McNabb being traded so Andy Reid gave him the starting spot. They didn’t think Vick could be a starter yet after coming back into the NFL in 2009. But this game started the ultimate redemption of Vick’s career.
