What made it all the more satisfying was that tension between Laron Landry and Desean was very real. It was a pretty common rumor in the league that Landry was juicing and he also laid a lot of guys out, so receivers didn’t like him and a lot of wideouts thought he was a dirty player. The closest player you could compare him to these days is a Jamal Adams type of Safety where you could put him in the box and he was a downhill defender who could help you on the run or with tight end matchups.
So having him play deep coverage on Jackson was a huge mistake. Fastest guy in the league against a run-support safety. I can only imagine what Desean was saying backpedaling into the end zone and the satisfaction from putting him on blast.

I honestly believe if Vick hadn't gotten into his well documented legal trouble he would've been a fringe HOF type. He was truly a great QB and the prototype for the kind of QBs we see today.
I remember on Saturdays me and my dad would always drop whatever we were doin to watch him play for VT. He was such an awesome athlete.

Randall Cunningham was the prototype and most gifted. Even after he was done with the Eagles, he got picked up by Minnesota and went 15-0 before losing in the playoffs.

Vick and Cunningham were both crazy. Vicks arm was like a gun and even later on in his career like in this video he could still run and was smooth as silk. See how he is able to get to the sideline and not take hits? This is what QBs should be doing now, but they have all these rules for protecting QBs and it isn't necessary

Dude, I was up 60 pts against my buddy and all he had left was Vick. Luckily our league has a 4 pts per passing touchdown. And I won by 6 or 8 pts, but I was sweating it out. Lol

2010 Vick was a master at its craft. Peak arm power, speed, 29-30 age wise and was just awesome. Get this he had over 20 passing tds in only 12 games. 600+ rushing yards, 9 rushing tds, and this was his best throwing season by far. Young DJack with rifle armed Vick was crazy. Lol crazy 10 years ago prime Vick was in the league everybody slept on him.
I was a huge Vick fan. I never thought he got a fair shake at a career, but he couldnt be denied even after they tried to wash him. I love that about his character.

The guy in fantasy whom I was playing had Vick and a Redskins receiver don't remember who but l was up 55 points going into that Monday game and I thought l had it won then Vick got 52 fantasy pts and 3 from the Redskins receiver. @@mattkhanna Moss was good man. He was underrated. Look up his stats. He put up 93 receptions and 1,300 yards in 2010. He was one of our few bright spots. Galloway on the other hand, if we had the Galloway of the early 2000s sure but he was washed up and out of his prime by the time he played with the Redskins and he was our number 2 receiver. Portis was banged up and out of his prime so we didn't have a strong run game either. Ryan Torrain which most fans don't even know who he is was his replacement. This is what a bad organization looks like. Horrible owner, horrendous GM and talentless players and outside of a few years here and there that's been the Redskins motto. I mean damn we can't even call them the Redskins anymore due to cancel culture.

They had a few players that were pro bowl caliber players but the majority of that roster was a dumpster fire with a lousy owner and horrible GM. Took them over 10 years to fire their GM Bruce Allen despite them losing over 100 games in that times pan. That goes to show you how bad of an owner Dan Snyder is. We can't even call them the Redskins anymore.

This era of Eagles was amazing as far as players, they just never "fully" clicked. Vick was just....there's no one else like him in the league. His arm made long balls look effortless. He could drop dimes all over the field, and lasers within 25. And he could run. It was like the dude had a 5 speed transmission in his legs. If he wasn't a QB he could 100% has been RB1 on any team. If there was any other QB with his explosiveness it was Cunningham. I will never forget the game against the Giants. A miracle for sure.
I’ll never forget watching this game live. This Eagles team was something man. Vick at an elite level, you had prime DeSean Jackson, prime Shady McCoy. As an Eagles fan this is a prime time Eagles squad 🦅

Mike FLICK!!! bruh had the smoothest most effortless cannon in that generation and prior. It's more common now but nobody had that torpedo like Vick. Even when his foot speed lessened he was still faster and twichier when he needed to scramble. HOF just the way he solidified the changes he brought to the league. Respect Big dawg 💪🏿

I remember this game so much. I was pretty young and learning about fantasy football with my dad, and we needed like 56 points from Vick to win high score money week. He got us like 56.5 and we barely won the money week. The reason I love fantasy football to this date.

THEN THIS GAME HAPPENED.

Arguably the most dominant single game performance in league history. Vick is and will always be the biggest " What If" in the league in my opinion. He's the most athletic QB to ever play the position and had he possessed the maturity he gained during his incarceration as a rookie we would be having a totally different conversation about him and his career. Even with the immature years with Atlanta we still got to see magic ever so often.....could only imagine if his head was on tight as a rookie what could have been.....wow!!!!
