I wish I had recording software. :( I could make jet tutorials too and help the BR4 community as well as I'm the second best pilot in Canada. Here's the top 10 tips I can give. 1: watch your speed 2: every bit of turning helps but you can use veteran if your not comfortable with default 3: watch the radar at all times. It is your life line to know what is locking onto you. (Jets will show up on radar when locking but infantry and vehicles wont) 4: DO NOT TURN WITH AFTERBURNERS ON. It will get you killed because you cannot outrun bullets or missiles 5: watch when and where you turn. For example, don't stick your nose down when your rushing into a mountain; you pull up to fly upwards 6: don't stall your jet or land it with hopes of losing people. You just become a easy target 7:flying too high will cause you to stall 8: I know this is hard but try and compensate for the rolling mobility hits cause without a gyro stabilizer. This opens many upgrade options. A tactic would be going straight up when a missile is coming at you (easiest way to compensate) 9: know when to pull off your target. This is probably the most hated advice to follow but if you're in a losing situation, pull yourself out of it. Do loops and circles to break the lock. Warning- turning is only effective with jets. If your getting locked from the ground, 'get yo ass outta there'. Honestly, many pilots I've killed have just been locked by the AA yet they do nothing. I can easily pull behind them and plus the AA fire, its a piece of cake 10: lastly, practise. I cannot tell how important practising is. Every match will teach you a new thing about tactics and manouvers so just play more often
yes you will xD actually its fucking deadly, I have it sometimes. when you do a turn and 5 seconds later you get warped to your old direction again (and that every 10 seconds) its impossible to fight or even stay in the air :P

Most of the time I get killed by teammates or people crashing into me, not because I get killed by ennemies. But Excellent video. Don't forget guys, 30mm/active radar and the Attack jet has a KILLER machine gun. but the feel for the Machine gun and precision is only gained over time and practice, also, the crosshair is like sky colored... which is a PITA. but you get used to it and it's awesome. Flying jet is an art and when mastered, you are not great and powerful, you are godly. no one can kill you except those freaking AA and stingers. Damn those.
Barrel roll is a different move than what you said, but thx for the tips dude. I didn't know how to do sharper turns and that's what i was looking for :D

You edit videos with your controller? :D The tips can be used but sometimes i get lost in the hurdle of all the xbox buttons when i have to translate it to keyboard buttons and mouse. Its like listening to another language. And its a bit harder to do continuous turns when i have to move my mouse back all the time so it doesnt come off the mouse pad. Anyway thanks for replying really appreciate it.

Hey StoneMountain64, just a tip, fight in third person. Rather than spending valuable time switching first and third just learn third. When engaging ground forces go in first but I learned that it's far easier to fly in third plus it's faster to fight and take out other jets. Since I learned this technique, I gained on average an extra 10 kills per match with default controls.
its better when u put your jet camera settings on off . that make u better controling with your turns and make u have fast move to avoid enemy fire .. this tip is make me pro
What about legacy and veteran? Legacy allows you to have full pitch and full roll I'm pretty sure with default you have to split it since pitch and roll is on the same stick. I'd like to hear people's thoughts on that.
U probably won’t see this but how do you get blue and orange strips in bf4 on your jet idk but I see people with like level 140 having blue and orange stripes on there jet mine is normally white

Trampflick Bourkey476 Franky has some great HD vids on PC for sure, don't know what he has in terms of jet lessons. I know what I talk about IS relevant to PC in certain mannerisms though so should still be helpful :)
ive had several moments when im dogging a guy in a jet, and he does some weird quick turn and next thing I know hes behind me. I wanna know how he did that, and how I can do that
On PC version the optimal turning speed is about ~305. You'll see your speed in the first person view inside the jet. I used to have the same problem until I learned this and now I dominate Air Combat. :P

I am a pro heli pilot and a semi pro jet pilot and i personnaly reccomend you use the legacy setting on your jet and heli sticks
