It is not a spoiler in the rear. It’s a wing. An anti-wing. Spoilers and wings are two very different tools. They act differently aerodynamic-wise, they are used for different purposes, they even look very differently. Spoiler decreases the lifting force created by the Coanda Effect, it spoils that attached airflow by detaching it and sending it into turbulence. Spoiler’s leading edge is attached to the surface, no air goes underneath the spoiler. Anti-wing is like an airplane wing, but upside-down. So its lift is downwards. Anti-wing creates downforce. It doesn’t eliminate or decrease the Coanda-Effect-created lift, it over-fights that lift. The anti-wing has to have moving air both above and under it. So it stands in the airstream.

I would assume the splitter going lower to the ground would improve downforce… maybe the extended surface area of the undercarriage makes a larger vacuum.
Just incase anyone doesn't know you need to go get your car professionally prepped for a track to make sure it's as mechanically sound as it can be your insurance will not cover anything that happens on a track until you specifically have that included in you policy
