That was fantastic seeing the pines and seeing your environment and playing at the gig .. your set up look cool , and sound amazing that tc voice effects really make a difference for harmonies stands out .. ❤great video Jeffrey everyone so friendly there..😊
Great video, both the content and the live stuff!! I suppose I'm the odd man out.. having grown up in rural Georgia in the early 80s, and being inclined to hard rock/metal vocals, I had no personal musical influences outside of who I listened to, but did have one dude that was a hell of an encourager..and still is. Been great buds since middle school (we're now closer to 60 than 55 !). This dude, having only heard me sing along with tapes, got me my first band audition which ultimately resulted in a long-standing stint of playing the 80s/early 90s SE USA circuit. After learing how to play the guitar, I was able to pay it forward, encourging the original "encourager" to pick up the guitar. He has been hooked for several years now and can't put it down! The gift of music, regardless of musical taste or ability, is still just that...a gift. Keep on encouraging, Jeffery! God Bless.
Hi Jeff, like you I was influenced by a musician friend back in the 80s he taught me the guitar basics chords, open scales, etc., and I lost contact with him late 80s. I was 21 at that time and never played guitar until I was influenced by that guy and he encouraged me to try and I’ve been playing off and on since then. My only regret is that I did quit playing for many years but my boss at work is a bass player in his own band and he influenced me last year to get back into playing. I play a D18 and working on my first set of songs. Years ago I have played in front of small crowds at parties but I didn’t sing, now I’m working on the vocals.
high Jeffrey, good to here you singing, sort of been missing it with all this you tube copyright crap. Here's a little ditty from Robert earl Keen you should definitely add to your set:th-cam.com/video/UZjnMEkO_dE/w-d-xo.html. song starts at 45 sec in. Enjoy!
