Same here in Atlanta metro, venues are just not pulling in any customers. Inflation is just keeping people home, glued to the boob tube! Money is tight...
Here in Mid- Michigan the gigs are lining up. The economy does suck, and there might be a few less patrons, but there will be some and they'll tip you. Rock on!
Hey Jeffrey: Thanks for your insights. I know that you have been using your Beat Buddy for years, so I’m sure you have it down. I’m going to start using my Beat Buddy for my low-key restaurant gig this weekend. My question is: How do I set it up to quickly access the right drum pattern when I don’t operate from any predetermined set list? My set could go spontaneously from a country feel to a blues to a bossa nova to a swing in no particular order. I never know what the set looks like until I’m in the middle of it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Greg
Cresant City could be a good spot for you. Aside from Brookings, there’s gig potential in Grants Pass Or, and Arcata and Eureka, Ca. All about an hour and half front Crescent!
You nailed it.... Although we are not in a bad place here.. it's actually beautiful for S.Cal. but to close to LA.. LOL, but can't wait to get back up there.
Hey man I've been booking like crazy and bit the bullet and got a JBL EON ONE column array for small and mid size venues and WOW it cut set up and tear down time alot and don't have to haul so much crap
Very refreshing to hear other musicians speak out about the craziness going on. Good luck with pulling more gigs man!
Thank you brother... back at you.
Hi Jeffrey. Good luck for the summer man. Keep on rocking 👍🎤🎸
