    Who did it better? KRX 1000 or Pro XP?

    Krx beats everything out here on the hills of Central Texas

      Kawasaki did their homework with the KRX. Now if they would beef up the motor and make a turbo or supercharged model as well, they will dominate in the desert as well! I think it would be wild to see them put their H2 street bike motor in it.

      Krx breaks with 114hp they ain't gonna hold together with 181hp

    We just got the Krx trail edition and took it out and it was awesome.

      I was about to buy the trail edition when I was looking at buying my UTV. It was between that and the pro xp I have now. I loved the camo and green on the trail, I thought it was one of the better ones they came out with! My dad still loves his KRX. They are a hell of a machine!

    Was the KRX in diff lock or low gear on that hill, great video.

      I think he just had it in low gear, I don’t think he had it locked in.

    The pro sounds great , get some 32s on 15 inch rims , help out with a few more inches Ride height n a lot bigger grip , those stock tires are horrible n small .

      I like the sound of the exhaust but it does get a little loud if you don’t have a headset or helmet on. I just got back from the dunes and when you are out in the open getting on it it gets pretty loud but it sounds damn good. I ran 32” tires in Moab and I loved it. I’ll be getting new ones once these tires are toast. I’ll just keep upgrading things as they need it!

      I came from a built KRX to the XP Pro, my KRX was tuned, clutched, had 35" beadlocks with Roxilla's, very 1st thing I did before I even drove my new XP was put 32's and 15" beadlocks on it, ya those stock Carnivores are not a good tire.

    Gear reduction parts are only $220 for the Polaris. Best thing you can do to them.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How hard is a gear reduction in these? I hear a lot of people doing it and I think it would be awesome. Just didn’t know how much work they are.

      @@SchmidtysOffroad Its not bad there are plenty of videos to follow, mainly just time consuming. Its a lot easier on the newer transmissions because there is only two gears that have to be swapped unless you do the big reduction.

    what hood do you have on the pro?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a fourwerx carbon fiber hood. I did a video on it a while ago actually. DRT also makes a nice hood for these, I think theirs is just fiberglass but they look pretty good also

    You still have sway bars connected don’t you?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad

      Yeah I’m thinking about disconnecting the front one for our Colorado trip and see how I like it!

      @@covecityboys yeah I was a little iffy on taking the back off, I have heard a lot of positives with taking the front off but was worried about maybe needing limit straps without the bar connected

      @covecityboys 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SchmidtysOffroad if you’re gonna be jumping and bouncing hard on rocks you want limit straps so you don’t blow the piston out of your shocks but slow crawling shouldn’t be an issue.

      @@SchmidtysOffroad sport. White. rode with a friend to a dealership and they took us in the back to see a teryx4 he wanted. And I seen the shock and the tire sticking out of the crate. Asked about it told him I’d be back with my trade in. I got really lucky.
