My oil alarm was going off on my Beta Marine diesel. Thanks to you I found the oil pressure sender unit, and the wire had come loose. Bad crimping. Reattached and problem solved. You saved me some cash! Thanks!
Can anyone tell me how to incorporate this with the Oil pressure safety shut off valve? From what i understand this sending unit is just what your oil pressure gauge reads and is not the actual safety shut off switch.
I have a Chevy Malibu I got the same oil sending me unit in mind reads high then I really step on it and let off and almost go down to 10 lb I'd be doing it
@@Jmmondeau My engine is a 1969. I don’t know if the sender for a 1969 is compatible with a 1985. But you can easily get the correct sender for your year by calling American Diesel at 804 435-3107 and talking with Brian the owner. It’s a one man operation so in my experience he is the only person who answers the phone. Good luck!

Can you tell me when you bought it at
Gallery Marine in Seattle. But you should just go to any auto parts store for your Malibu. Good luck!
So you know the part number for a dual station oil sender. Thanks. 1985 engine.
Good luck!
@@davidvonwolffersdorff2385 sorry for my poor wording. Do you know the part number for the sender.
