That's interesting. I have a 23 Big Bend 4door with only the mid package and I don't need the key to open the door (except in my pocket or on me). Works great. OF course what is crazy is the 23s were supposed to come with some sort of sub package and mine was deleted with a $250 delete. I think the amp is in there but it is a fake box! LOL. Also, $25 credit for the navigation delete. Looks like it would cost me about $1500 to add it in so that I could pay Ford a subscription. I loved it on my 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison Diesel but I can use the Google Map via the phone wireless connected to the truck (an improvement over my 20 ZR2 which had to be usb c wired)

With that said, we prefer the more basic models over the ones with all the bells and whistles for numerous reasons. It sounds like you didn’t do your research and maybe are a bit over-indulged with wanted creature comforts. To each their own I guess. We have had electric hybrids, top of line trucks and a nice BMW SUV. We were glad to get rid of all of them due to high cost of ownership, expensive maintenance and to insure. We are more happy with less.

For $100 you can add the key code... it is the best thing for a base Sasquatch... it may be slightly more to have dealer add on (as they have to do it) since it wasn't factory added... but should be about $150 at most, and worth the money. But have no clue how you paid $50K... my base Sasquatch two door was only $38k and msrp has gone up but it is still less than $45K unless you are counting taxes and title etc etc. Stereo sucks I just added new speakers like everyone else... but the only upgrade was to lux which was a much great price tag. And the biggest thing I missed with the base is the heated seats even the mid package Big Bend had heated seats... right now my son is driving it because i refuse to give it up since we got such a great deal!!!

    • @jessicag4940

I don't have it on the current car I am driving and I often go out at work to get things from my car and have to return to get my keys... it sucks... I loved that key pad!!!! Ford also lets you use your phone if you don't get the key pad, but I recommend the key pad.
