This video cost me a lot of money. After watching it about a thousand times, I bought a 2013 ZL1 coupe. Yessir - this thing is fast and I do feel like a boss when driving it. Best purchase I’ve ever made. Thanks Matt!

Glad you enjoyed the car man! I agree, the interior is drastically improved from when the car first came out. I sat it in it as the motor trend show and just said to myself quietly "thank god"

I dislike when people say Camaro's are everywhere, so are Mustangs, so are Challengers. Car companies are in the market of making money that means to sell cars to as many people as possible.

Mustangs are common than camaros and challengers, mustangs are like assholes everybody has one
Cam Brady 012 Thats true but keep in mind that chevy and dodge stop production and that is why you see a lot of those 1998-2009 mustangs.
I drove my dad's ZL1 this past Sunday and OMG it is a beast for sure!

So happy you reviewed a newer Camaro. Ever since 2012 Chevy has really stepped it up with these Camaros and has improved on most of the complaints you pointed out in the 2010 RS. I mean the V6's have been bumped up 20HP and more than that in torque and also have that new steering wheel and much more tight suspension.

Probably the best review I've seen...I usually stay away from muscle cars but your video and your excitement is making me turn! Lol but really great video! I like the intro!
It's always amusing to see a person that normally drives 4-bangers finally drive a V8. They almost always get hit with the visceral excitement that makes V8s so much fun; like a kid with a brand new toy. LOL No other engine can provide that throaty, guttural note that a V8 can; not a V12, not a V10, and especially not a V6 or 4-banger. That authoritative, yet effortless acceleration is pure addiction. The V8 engine is by far one of the best things to ever happen in the automotive ethos. And considering the fact it can be scaled to make as much or as little HP as any other engine out there, it's probably THE best engine ever with regards to passenger/street vehicles.
i love when you get faster cars to review the reactions are too great. great review again, ZL1 is underrated around here, needs more marketing.

This is my favorite review of the Zed. I own a '14 Zed in this color, but I can't get over how much you enjoyed this car! It makes me look forward to driving mine when the weather gets better.

love the review! I was a little heart broken after the 2010 review as you were not much of a fan but i knew the changes they made in 2012 addressed many of the issues and glad to hear it was noticed. Probably one of my favorite reviews yet!

God I want one of these cars so badly. I have a 2012 v6 manual, which is a ton of fun in it's own right, but this car is the Camaro perfected imo.
I feel ya! I have the same ride as you, 2012 v6 manual. I'm saving my pennies to buy the drivetrain from a totaled ZL1. The ultimate sleeper, ZL1 in an LS base model. No one would ever suspect it. No menacing look from the outside but it's all under the hood.

Oh Matt you filmed my favorite us muscle car it's my dream car since the new SS came out and wanna drive it some day... maybe on the German autobahn because they have much better roads for long rides and pulls! love every single part of the car, the new interiors have been improved and that's great! plus gotta love the intro.. gonna download it for sure and play it in my SAAB 93. Great video! I can see how the ZL1 would make you giddy! I have this same car,2013 ZL1 but mine is black and I have the automatic which was a tough decision for me but Im more than happy with it! I can put it in manual and shift with the paddle shifter anytime I want.lots of low end tork! Plenty of compliments everywhere I go. I totally agree with the location of the boost gauge.they should have incorporated it in the HUD feature. My friend says its like riding in a "bunker" with the low cut windows but Im getting used to that and the somewhat restricted visability from inside.hey.its worth it! When I purchased this car it had around 3700 miles on it and I got a very good price.Moonroof,magnetic ride suspension,traction control,backup camera,remote start,bluetooth,sirius radio,onstar,supercharger,580 hp and plus its blazing fast! more than happy with this car! Love it!

Great video! I own a 2013 Manual black ZL1 as well, its the most amazing car ever. I traded in my shelby gt500 for the ZL1 and never looked back. Sure it has less HP but the feel of the ZL1 is amazing, plus the handling. The shelby was nice.. however to much hp and not enough handling..
This guy's face was pricless... thats like me everytime I gass it!
Some people like to do drugs and drink... but everytime I let loose on my ZL1 I feel amazing, such a rush!
Also I agree one thing I dislike about the ZL1 is the boost is in a horrible spot. If they put the boost on the HUD (heads up display)
Hassy Ali yeah I agree with you about that they should put a digital boost gauge on the HUD but the reason it is in the center counsel like that is because its a throw back to the old late 60's camaro rally package.
Try a gt350 next!! I bet they have really come a long way

Jared Tate Well cause he does car reviews if you didn't notice and he is also a Subaru fan, the 2.5rs is the only Good Subaru he hasn't done a review on yet. I'm Sure is because a Stock one is extremely hard to come by, most of them now are swapped with wrx or STi motors now

In all of the Camaro reviews, he always refers the view as sitting in a tank. Imo it's more like sitting in the cockpit of a jet fighter. I love my 2012! Turns heads everywhere I go.
