I found very early on that you boost the mids to stand out from the mix and get sweeter solo sounds.

The main issue is while switching from a bank to other using foot switch is its not instant like regular pedals . Its noticeable more if u change from clean to distortion banks or vise versa

The lag between presets is awful. The only way to play live from, lets say, clean to distorted is to use the programmable footswitch in "switch" mode and edit a preset where you only activate distortion to a clean preset. In this way there's no lag because you don't change preset, just activate a prefx. The problem is that is difficult to build a good heavy distortion starting from a clean preset. Still trying to work this out anyway

@@dominickfine1310 of course. Why choose a digital amp if you need to buy pedals? Anyway, I changed my Code with a full analogic orange crush. Even if lot of people love the boss katana, i will never buy another digital amp.

@@666gatsu666 the Katana is not a digital amp, it’s solid state just like your orange, with a computer you are just allowed to make presets with built in digital effects but you can’t really mess with them away from a computer plus the distortions of the amp are solid state not digital modeling

@@AdamManley7 Sorry. I thought that Code and Katana were the same kind of amp.

If you change to another preset all that was in vain
