One of my mates has a Code and we both found presets we liked in around maybe a minute. The hardest thing, as with all digital gear, is settling on one option and making it sound just how you like it. There are so many choices. I really like the Code series of amps.

Elliot Puckett Just do a metal tone but dial down the gain and up the mids a little. Same goes for distortion. Choose a distorted amp, do whatever with effects, find a good balance between resonance and the other thing (forgot its name but it’s on the power amp) and I usually go for a marshall 100 W cab.
Patrick Herendeen it gets loud, but it’s good for quiet practice. Sometimes it’s hard to get the exact volume you want but you can also use headphones. Also no it doesn’t really loose any tone from turning it up

Still have it as my main amp lol !
I bought the Boss Katana Mini from the Ola video, but already send it back. Everything sounds so great in his video's.
@@doomguy1430 me too though I didn't buy it on Ola's recommendation. I bought it after a selling a much larger/louder amp that wasn't practical for home use anymore. I now do a few gigs and could do with that amp AND the Mustang! :)
@@MrButterscotch1 I like the metal tones of my mustang!Ok not the best for a metalhead but pretty good. And with the fender fuse you have so many things to do!I don't regret buying that amp.
when he disabled the cab i got goosebumps lol
Line 6 Spider kombo.... I chalange you :D
the cab simulator is to try to emulate your chosen sound thru different cabs configurations ( different 4x12s or 1x12s, )
boss katana 50 or marshall code 50?
how is that even a question ?
michael vasileiadis Boss Katana all the way!
I have a Boss Katana 50. It sounds kinda muffled like I'm on the bridge pick-up. Do you have this with yours?
Boss katana 50
Mark Brown load in a sneaky amp, better than any of the imo shit standard ones
good idea for a series, i will watch, as always
I never think of Marshall when I think of brutal Heavy Metal these days. I think classic rock or British metal and metal up to 1985. I like Marshall but when I see the name "Logo" I just always think of classic rock.
And the leson of the day, kids, ist that Ola can make anything sound good. I bet he could even make a Spuder 3 chug......
I don't want to win that.
90% of the time I play completely unplugged. The damn thing makes noise doesn't it? I'd give it to someone who really wanted to learn how to play guitar if I had one. Especially if it were free you gotta pay your dues. How do you know an amp or guitar is good (in your opinion) if you haven't heard or played shit (in your opinion)? That amp could inspire some kid to become the next guitar god you gotta learn on something.
The code does sound good if you know what you are doing.
Its a shame this channel is turning into generic youtube garage. "Up next, 1 riff 20 band styles, I write a song in 30 seconds, You won't believe what i did to my guitar"
Brilliant idea for a series!
The Code 50 sucks
surprisingly good tones coming outof that thing
