“Spare the rod spoil the child.” Does that sound familiar?

I love your videos! Very few people giving parenting advice walk the line between relationship and character building… you do it well.
I think the way we build our relationship as we help our children mature should reflect the way God builds relationship with us and helps us grow.
He shows that we are truly loved and that He's willing to sacrifice for our good.
He shows that He has authority and expects to be obeyed with clear consequences tied to disobedience.
He leads by example. He tells us to be holy as He is holy and then came down to live out the example Himself.
He prioritizes relationship, grace and love over punishment yet is completely just.
He wants to help us learn and grow from our mistakes.
He realizes that we are weak and helpless without Him and so died to pay for our sins and then gave Himself to us as a gift to enable us to live as He desires. (We can't die for their sins but we can pick up our cross and die to ourselves to parent in a way that helps them find Him. )
He works things together for our good to help us mature and become Christlike.
He lovingly answers prayer and yet lovingly tells us no when what we desire is not good for us.
He is the perfect Father and I love Him so much.

I do not believe the best way to discipline is to resort to spankings for every infraction. There is a time when a spanking is appropriate and a time when it is not.
It’s not right for that to be the default for every problem.
Children can learn in other ways too. I suggest you look at the video on this channel about spanking.

You want me to give you a thumbs up for saying I have the same problem. No. Give me an answer and I'll give you a thumbs up. There was no answer in this video so no.

I do not understand this comment at all. Give you the answer to what?
Please clarify your complaint. You might want to look at the title. The video answers the question.
At the end of the video, it gives you another video that tells you what to do about it.

@@MommyAnswerLady my apologies. When I watch a video about something I expect an answer not a referral to another video or another video.

Some people do not like long drawn out videos that give a lot of information. That is why I made one just to answer this question. Th Most of the other videos on this channel say what they do in the title. And, most of them are step by step how to do things to solve behavior problems. This one was a "why" video. Not a "how to".
Sorry for your disappointment, but if you are looking for the answer to how to, it is on this channel too!
