    If it meant a combination of Marc Marquez and Pedro Acosta, than the most trusted developer of KTM Brad Binder would be left without a seat.
    That's the bold verdict from Jorge Lorenzo, who feels that Marquez's potential availability would force KTM to part ways with the experienced Binder.

      That was his only accomplished victory in GP, Olivera had 5 victories after. But do remember Acosta spent 3 years in the lower categories while Binder spent 8 years.

    It also necessary to remember that the Stoner was a great rider but did not win any races the first year of his debut.

    Yes, Binder did win right at the beginning of the season in the first year of his debut.., yes its true because i remembered that because of the comments from Lorenzo the clown who didn't mention this feat and i'm almost certain that Acosta won't do it.

    It will be interesting to see the calculations of lap times per circuit when the body mass of the driver is taken into account. The margins are so small nowadays that I think even 1kg will make a difference. This is probably one of the reasons for the emergence of younger drivers like Marc Marquez ( at the time ) and Acosta ( now ).

    I can't see it. The main reason is I don't think Marc would want to duke it out week in week out with Acosta on the same bike. Acosta is young and hungry, but Marc is not in retirement mode neither which means he knows he cannot lose to Acosta. Granted Marc has already been beaten once by Acosta on a superior bike, does he think on the same machine he can keep Acosta under control? Hard to say which is why I don't think he would want to be in a fist fight with a teammate all season long. Plus, Binder is doing pretty well. Having said that, I am 100% certain that Marc will want to be on a factory bike in 2025 and beyond. He already knows his GP23 is no match for the GP24 (unless it is out of tires like Bagnaia was in Portimao) as well as the KTM and Aprilia. I don't think he would want to ride a year old inferior bike again. That only leaves 2 options: 1) unless Ducati really changes its current supply of factory bikes arrangement. The rumour being Pramac may only get 1 latest factory bike whereby the other might go to either Gresini (i.e. Marc) or VR46. 2) Aprilia. Aleix will be 35 in July, is really time to hang it up. Initially, I thought it was going to be Fabio and Marc, but since Fabio has decided to go with the money to stay with Yamaha, the second bike is less of an issue provided they have Marc. It could be Marc with Bastianini or Marc with Vinales. If Gresini can pay or up his salary plus getting a factory bike at the same time, it is possible Marc could stay with Gresini. But, as far as factory Ducati goes, I can't see them letting Martin walk.

      Watch Ducati give Marc a factory bike at Gresini when Acosta gets too good.

    • @Rascallucci
      @Rascallucci หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@archiewilson4943 It is possible, but can Gresini pay though? Marc should have a better chance of getting a bigger salary riding for Aprilia. Plus having full factory support as in directly riding for the manufacturer should allow more upsides. In theory at least.

    • @archiewilson4943
      @archiewilson4943 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rascallucci Martin has full factory support. He just wants the red suit and bike. Marquez wants the trophy. He is nearing retirement. A championship is worth far more in the long run with endorsements and memorabilia. If he can beat Bagnaia, Martin, or Acosta in a close championship and these guys go on to long successful careers his fame and worth lives way longer. Otherwise he is simply lumped in with Rossi, Lorenzo, and Pedrosa.
