The final proposal for the 2027 MotoGP regulation framework was revealed to the public on Monday, May 6, after months of discussions. Many doubts now arise over how the landscape might change under the new rules, given the major change that is planned for the series.
By the time the 2027 MotoGP season arrives, ten years will have gone since the last significant regulatory change for the series took place in 2016.

This will be a big mistake in 2027! Getting rid of the electronics assistants, the reducing of speed & tuning down the aerodynamics is good. But reducing the 1000cc engine to an 850cc engine! It is a terrible idea 💡 these engines are almost the same size as the moto2 bike's engines. AND YES DUCATI DOMINANCE WILL BE THREATENED. just because the Japanese motorcycles can't keep up with advancements doesn't mean taking things away from Ducati, KTM, and Aprilia because the other competitors can't keep up. That is totally unacceptable and very unfair 😑 😒 😤 ....
They are going in the wrong direction with an 850 regardless of the the limits of aero and ride height.
Mislim da smanjenje motora nece biti neki veliki problem i korak unazad , jer ce oni tada mozda imati snage kao otprilike ovi sada , mozda ne celih 300hp ali 270-280 sigurno, a mislim da bi i smanjenje veličine i mase doprinelo boljem trkanju. Moze tu da se napravi dobar paket za kvalitetno trkanje, smanjenje mase i velicene samog motora ,plus samog agregata , u kombinaciji sa dosta konja i manje aerodinamike i elektronike , moze biti dobro i iziskivace vece umece vozaca ,lepše trkanje .

What if Ducati is still competitive in 2027?
That's racing. If you look at the global elite racing series over time F1, MotoGP and WRC rule changes may might shake things up but the cream always rises to the top. All motor racing is really about funding and how far you can push the rules without breaking them. That really doesn't matter if we are talking about local level club racing or international premier class events. If everyone had the same set of rules dominance of one group shouldn't be looked at negatively maybe it should be looked at as the benchmark you stive to achieve.
