I've heard that he's genuinely just super good with fans and very down to earth outside of competition.
In 2021 and 2022 he was riding his weekends with excruciating pain, and still he took the time to smile and sign autographs and take pictures. I saw that at Cota 2022 he took pictures and smiled for his fans and in that weekend he was coming from one of the worst highsides Ive ever seen and his vision was still fusing and getting normal again leading to bad headaches aswell as the swelling and twisted arm.
He also lived all of his life in his home town until just recently when he had to move to a big city for treatment to his injuries, but he has still stayed in his home country.
Motogp riders in general I appreciate for not fucking off to Monaco or Switzerland the moment they get their first paycheck unlike f1 drivers and other athletes. Not that I don't understand why they do that and would probably do the same, but still.

It's such a shame that Rossi's hate campaign made Marquez kind of introverted with the media in a sense after 2015, he's kind of had his guard up ever since and until more recently has rarely been open and relaxed.

The boy had multiple surgeries at the same location, had his bone cut short, and still came back just for the grit he has. He had nothing to prove. He was already a declared legend by 2019 end! There’s no Martin on a Ducati to be in the mix, there’s no other Ducati 25 who could challenge them, so it’s just Pecco and Marc in the same team, and it’s the easiest bet ever to see that Marc will be better than Pecco.

@@ExtremaRiderI've watched for a long time too. To say he has more talent than marc after 2 races in motogp only shoes you don't like marquez. I've never seen anyone pick a bike up with the front end sliding down the road consistently like marquez did but that aside. Let's compare their rookie seasons. After 2 races marc had a podium and a win, 41 points, hadn't been beaten by the equivalent bike. He actually never finished lower than 3rd with 1 crash and 1 disq all year. Pedro has 28 points even with sprints, has been beaten by the equivalent bike and has 1 podium gifted after a vinales mechanical (but a podium is a podium) A 7th, 8th and 9th. Not to discresit him, I've watched him all the way through and I hope acosta is the next big thing and makes the sport exciting like marc. But I can't see how the pair are even comparable right now. Let him win the championship this year, then maybe 10 wins in a row next year and will start to belive he can be the goat. Let's go pedro! #37

@@mickdunn4023Fyi, Marquez started pulling of those saves in 2014, in his rookie year of 2013 he only had one such save and it was on his elbow at Motegi if I remember correctly.
I think Acosta has the same level of talent so I'm interested to see if he will start pulling those of soon.
I miss 2018-2019 peak pre injury Marquez where we got to see those front end saves practically every session, for the viewer atleast as we experience the sport visually with our eyes it's just the ultimate showcase of skill.

I remember Rossi dominating in 2002-2003 on a Honda and thinking there will never be anyone as dominant as he was back then, and then 2014 happened and Marquez won the first 10 races in a row. It just sucks that he’s had such terrible crashes and lost so much time due to horrendous injuries. Who knows the amount of wins and titles it has cost him

    • @jamiemelin6949
      @jamiemelin6949 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Just imagine if Honda didn't start producing dangerous bikes with midfield performance from 2015 onwards.
If 21 yo 2nd year Marquez could win 10 races in a row with a bike that was just slightly better that the Yamaha, imagine what he could have done when he had fully matured and hit his prime at 26-30 years old.
In 2019 he scored only 1st or 2nd with the exception of one Dnf (caught out when the Honda was more unridable than usual). That was on a machine that would be scraping for point with any other rider.
I imagine that with a bike say, just 3 tenths off the pace he'd have all the tools necessary to win every single race in a season.

Some things are not correct. The longest podium streak is 23 in name of Rossi. And 18 maybe the most in a season but at that season whas also with the highest amount of races. To solve that proem they look at how many % of the total amount where podium. And there Marc isn’t nr 1. Rossi in 2003 hhad a 100% podium season. But yes it whhas the higest amount of races won in a season. But also not %. If you look at the last 34yers Mick Doohan is the record holder with 80% 12/15 wins. But if you look at the total history its Giacomo Agostini at the top in almost every list %.

      As a 93 fan I admit
      It was pure racing incident
We can't blindly blame only him coz he not dive-bombed into Marc
overtake & goes wide line Pecco have inside line
      Both are at fault 👍

Marc goes wide and he knows perfectly well Pecco will go for that gap. Marc did the same thing to Jorge Martin on saturday and Martin was intelligent enough to let Marc pass and avoid crashing. Marc was not as intelligent as Martin.

perjalanan dia menuju kelas para raja mulus sekali, baru masuk langsung diteam factory, dengan tittlenya stoner di 2012. agak mirip sama rossi dulu langsung dihonda factory, tapi dengan skin satelite. sayang sekali honda terlena sama bakat alami marc, jadi ngerasa cukup, akhirnya kelimpungan saat marc cuti. padahal udah keliatan dari 2017, ducati udah agak diatas honda, tapi masih ketolong skillnya marc.

Although I'm a real fan of MM93. I think he will lose his options against Acosta. Anyway a beautiful documentation. Thanks and congrats thatfore.

@@Efm56I guess in my opinion one must also carry themselves with integrity. People who worship power will be attracted to certain personalities, say in sport or on screen, who are powerful for the sake of having power. But others appreciate other character traits. When we assess a champion, some of us consider integrity important. I don't think Marquez has that trait and is not 'likeable'. Not to me anyway, probably more to the younger generation for whom ethics, morality and respect for others have become malleable according to the situation.
