I live in Burleson which is just 17miles south of Fort Worth TX The DFW housing market is brutal the property taxes are jumping 800$ to 1000$ a year. If you can hang on to your house In DFW market the value of the house will go up drastically. I do share the house with my younger brother and sister. For me it’s pay it off or build up so much equity in it to the point where I can buy a smaller house and but a lot money in the bank.

So make this make sense: a woman i know, got in a car crash, (2nd or 3rd totaled car), needed a ride home from work, I notice woman dont care about their cars and have all types of scratches on it, opening doors with rings on or keys n their hands, letting their purse or jacket with metal fasteners/zippers rub on the car, so she got n to my car, i heard the sound of a bag rubbing on my car as she was opening the door, I told her please watch your bag or jacket, i dont want scratches on my car, she got mad at me saying: "who cares its just a car" i told her do that shit wit ur car, not mine. I want my car to look nice, she said "for who", I said for me. She doesnt understand why i dont want something i paid money for to be damaged just because she doesnt care about her cars condition she thinks everyone else shouldnt care. I told her i dont want to have to spend money fixing it. Again her "i dont care its just a car, u men are materialistic, u cant take it wit u wen u die". So i hurt her feelings because at this point she is pissing me off. I said: "of course u dont care about ur car when u didnt pay for it", her dad gave it to her, she totaled that car he gave her and also totaled her previous car that she owned, on the way to her parents house I told her my previous car i was to nice and didnt put my foot down on this matter when women get n my car, and had to get scratches fixed, o but now im an asshole for saying something about it, the nerve, so now she wont speak to me, TF is her problem?

As I approach 40 years old, I see that there is only so much use and gratification “stuff” actual provides. When your toys and the work that accompanies retaining ownership cost not just cash flow but your most important and valuable asset…time, they are no longer valuable. Kudos to slimming it down Rich. Thank you for sharing this and keep doing the work!

Reminds me of when I was 29. Had a great job, Porsche 911 in the garage, a house in the city, and arm candy living with me. Yet I felt so weighed down and unhappy. When I received an unexpected promotion, I cut the anchors loose and sold everything to live on a ranch out west for a year. That's how growth happens, men. By letting go, and going into the unknown. Penetrate life.
Only regret in life thus far... selling the 911.

I've noticed that you only mentioned the "arm candy" once. I'm guessing she didn't love you or something happened? Not asking for entire details, like something along the lines of "She only wanted me for my money" or something like that is what I mean.

From the title alone, it does sound sociopathic/narcissistic. I get where he is coming from though; he is talking to beta behaving people who give too much of themselves and others who accumulate too much crap.
Society depends on the generosity of people including strangers. Be generous, but don't give too much. The challenge of life is figuring out how much is just right...

I buy diggers and machines when I build houses and I sell them when I am finished. Most people hire them and have a huge bill at the end. Honestly to hire one digger and dumper for one week here in the uk is £700 I made £1000 after 4 years use of my last digger. Like you say Richard its ok to sell assets if it works well for you.

The anchors & sails analogy is a great metric to assess your direction in life as a man. Since unplugging I've lost contact with some blue pilled guys that are married (some with families), they are in a totally different place than me. No hate.....it is what it is. And working from home for the last two years has been great since I don't have to deal with my woke co-workers in person, email keeps them at arms' length. Been exploring the world of crypto - that's my next step towards achieving even greater independence from the toilet bowl of social narratives and toxic women.

Even most of my friends who are in crypto, still don't even know the first thing about yield farming or staking protocols or any of that sort of stuff - to be honest I don't even fully either, and I've been in crypto for years hardcore. *10 things to quit for all Strong Men:*
    1. Caring about what others think
    2. Not believing in yourself
    3. Not experimenting different ideas / solutions for problems (life&business)
    4. Not prioritizing your health
    5. Wasting your precious time
    6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it)
    7. Chasing meaningless relationships
    8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩
    9. Wasting time by scrolling social media
    10. Bad habit for good (if you have those - gaming, dirty websites, binge eating - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!)
Take it easy and I hope you found one thing helpful in this list.

I have lived in Toronto most of my life and have noticed a really drastic change in the last 3 years. Crime has gone way up so has homelessness and drug abuse. Rent and house prices are sky high making it impossible to survive for a lot of people. If your starting from nothing it’s a lot harder to make something of yourself without help . Our rights and freedoms are being taken away right in front of our eyes. I plan on working a few more years and hopefully making enough investments that I’ll be able to live somewhere cheaper and hot all year round.

Keep in mind that an anchor is also a security item! It can be deployed to avoid to go aground when you have no power or some catastrofic failure. Is there stuff that don't put us anywhere but can be deployed as security measure? I don't know...

    Fantastic timing!
I been evaluating of my current situation. Small town living has run its course good job good money but lifestyle limitations has become an anchor. Current discontent can be a good motivator of personal change. 2 hours away, large city with good business opportunities that will give me freedom of time a less structured life that will let me be more creative financially. I can spin new plates meet new people. Sometimes I think a positive change is as invigorating as a long vacation. Besides good friends are where you find them, usually doing similar hobbies or in expanding into new interests that we may have. Let the wind fill my sail.

I let go of two people about a month ago. I'm tired of bull shitters. They were so fake and I don't know why I put up with them for a few years. I've really reeled things in. It's actually a great feeling. This aint no charity man. As for boats. I've sailed all over the Caribbean. I live in Florida and still enjoy my boat.

Rich, great video and thanks for continuing to put out great content. You mentioned your desire to leave Toronto quite a bit in this vid and I know that you have made other videos about the same topic. I was wondering how your moving away will affect the time you are able to spend with you daughter. You havn't brought that up before and I was wondering what you think about it. Apologies in advance if this is prying and don't feel any obligation to respond if you want that to remain a private matter. Just curious. Best of luck to you in your move to better places.
