I was a teen when this run came out. I read some of the series but never read the entire story. It reminds me of back in the day when I was kid. I can't wait to get my hands on this omnibus! Thanks for the review.

I’m glad they kept the fold out page in this edition. I was worried about the bidding cause previous printings were terrible. I remember my brother bringing home the issue where Doomsday kills Superman & we were just amazed at the artwork & how it was pulled off. Looking forward to getting my in the mail. Great overview.
Thanks for sharing. I bought the 3rd version of this and promptly resold it because of the format. I dislike the way DC decided to break up the story by inserting the faux Newstime magazine right after the death and before the next issue. It breaks up the narrative and would be better served in the back as extra. Sorry DC, you will not be getting my money for this. I was really hoping they had revised the format. I can’t be the only one who finds that annoying.
