good sir, does your software upscale the solution or what does it really do? for example deblur a video so it can have quality of 1440p60fps from a 480p video file for example?
Would it be possible to add cpu usage slider to choose the amount of cpu power used? the default cpu usage is making mine very hot when this app is running.
You don’t say exactly how hot you CPU is; CPUs are designed to get somewhat hot without getting damaged. FrameGUI has reached EOL and will not have anymore feature updates. EncodeGUI, the successor of FrameGUI will have a feature to control that. However, it should be noted that CPU temperature shouldn’t be software controlled. Before doing any kind of encoding, you must have the proper cooling hardware else you could damage your CPU, regardless if it’s controlled by software or not.
Hey so, FrameGUI thinks my 30.3fps video is already 60fps and gives me the Frame rate selection error message box. Is there any way to troubleshoot this?? It happens to other mpeg-4 videos too...
I would like to ask, if this software can be run on my computer, this specification of my computer: Processor Intel(R) Celereon(R) N4000 CPU 1.10Ghz / Ram 4 GB / System type 64 bit
I have the following error Process exited with AviSynth+ error "SVSmoothFps: unable to init GPU-based renderer - code 65536" Would you like to open error logs? How do I fix it?
If you don’t use a video card then how can you use your screen? Watch this guide for the alternative method of using the 60fps conversion in FrameGUI without GPU: th-cam.com/video/Fs38PwpMdo4/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I know the program is now obsolete and replaced by Encodegui. But some of my videos only work with Famegui. Can you show me how I can compile the installation file from the source code and install it like before? Much appreciated!
No, it won’t keep the same video bitrate as the input because more frames are being added to the media file which usually requires a higher bitrate than the source (the quality will appear lossless between the source and output files). The video codec is changed to x264. Since I’ve provided no method to detect the input audio bitrate, the audio bitrate and codec are changed to AAC at 320kbps regardless of the input.
@@DaGoose so there is no difference between one click and default method...i just can't choose parameters. by the way i just sent my requests for EncodeGUI. Keep the same audio is a feature i only found in Avidemux, plus i mentioned others (Hevc, queue, visual crop). i would pay for a complete tool so i don't have to use more tools to do everything and spend more time than i would.
The difference between the one click and normal modes of FrameGUI is just simplicity. FrameGUI was only really only designed for SVPFlow interpolation and for those who only want interpolation. I appreciate your input on EncodeGUI. EncodeGUI will be the more advanced “version” of FrameGUI featuring 4 more video codecs (x265, ProRes, Theora, and VPX.) HDR10(+) and HLG metadata will also accepted for x265 encoding. The new interpolation method that will be featured is RIFE AI in EncodeGUI. Waifu2x video super resolution upscaling will also be added. I’ll be adding Muxing options as well of passthrough on audio files and subtitles, etc. Thanks again for your input and please let me know of anything else you want me to add to EncodeGUI.
@@DaGoose well i didn't understand what you said..i mean because i don't know that RIFE AI or Waifu or passthrough are...i have to wait and then check if it's for me. At the moment i'm really ok with Avidemux. i miss only the queue. this thing about fps is not really the most important thing for me but if i can do it during the encoding (i encode just to make files smaller reducing bitrate or using HEVC codec) i suppose i can do it. i see that frameGUI is slow but i think that it's because this FPS ...ehm...enhancement (?) add some time to the standard time. And this brings me to another poit, now that i think....is there a chance to not change FPS in frameGUI? or at least is it going to be possible in EncodeGUI?
Passthrough is similar to Muxing but without any encoding or changes done to the video/audio/subtitles or whatever. It just “passthrough” the media to the output without any changes. That’s what I was assuming you expected out of the one click encoding of FrameGUI for the audio as opposed to the audio being re-encoded. There will be a job queue in EncodeGUI, and the options to change the color gamut. You didn’t understand the other features that I listed because they aren’t seen in the typical video encoding tool. Avidemux is just a basic use encoder without any sort of filtering (such as AviSynth or VapourSynth). The encoding is slower with FrameGUI and with the interpolation enabled because there are more frames to process as opposed to input (you are right ;) )
Hello.. is there any setting to prevent high temp cpu for framegui? It kinda scary when my temp soar to 104C. Using premier didnt take my CPU temp even to 80C. Thanks in advance.
@@DaGoose i am using a liquid cooler with my i9 10850k i have 55-60 temp while gaming, but with this application it goes up to 95 degrees, that has nothing to do with cooling
@@reshi207 ah no, It most certainly has to do with cooling. Gaming and video encoding are two completely different means of processing. Most games use your GPU much more than your CPU which is why your CPU remains cool. FrameGUI uses only and all CPU processing available which is why it runs hotter than if you were gaming.
Anything that consists of 3D objects is going to use more of your GPU and NOT your CPU. Using blender isn’t going to be much different processing from gaming.
@@lionlight9514 I have set the release for early next year. There will be a free and paid version. I want to be able to pay off the fees but also make it extremely affordable for the users unlike other tools so that is how I landed on the small one time payment.

Hey so, FrameGUI thinks my 30.3fps video is already 60fps and gives me the Frame rate selection error message box. Is there any way to troubleshoot this?? It happens to other mpeg-4 videos too...
