It’s because the movements are mostly straight forward and simple. It makes it easier for the AI to interpolate correctly so it feels like it was shot in HFR originally and looks good.
That's because this is well done, real HFR movies are very good but they fail in important elements such as their color grading (they look more like a demo than a movie) and that doesn't happen in this case, directors should really take note of these projects when we make movies in glorious HFR.
The music & artwork is what made this movie so good. Too bad Disney didn't push it to its success. Some kid movie made more movie at the time so they didn't bother to work on part 2. But imo the movie was too underrated with so much potential. 10/10 from me 🔥

Avatar's mistake was alternating 48fps scenes with 24fps, making it look strange, the best thing they would have done is leave everything at 48fps or simply shoot at 60fps as in this case.
I watched Tron during release at a "RealD 3D" theater in 2010, but it was too dark to get totally immersed in. This would have made such a better impression.
The next Tron film is gonna be so good. All they need to do is make it look like this and have a decent story, and any sort of element that one-ups the first two. Come on, Disney.

That the thing it was a descent story. Very simple a story about a father and son reuniting. It seems like stories has to be super Christ Nolan inception tenet complex for people to enjoy it. This a film I will watch with my kids it’s a good simple little film that definitely immerses you for a hour and half.

Usually I'm not a fan of upscaling programs and all (becuase it usually doesn't work that well) but I can say we entered the era where it finally is getting better! The framerates still seem a little odd at some points. Sometimes it stutters and sometimes it still looks like 24fps. But the HDR. WOW.
