Upon my Return I was unexpectedly diagnosed with a Incurable and Inoperable Brain tumour that is slowly killing me. I was also awarded the Queens Order of Australia Medal (OAM) hence the post nominals after my name. Then Being medically separated from the Army I flew to Ukraine in 2022 for 6.5months and now make content full time. I really appreciate you being here Thankyou

We had many of these war tourists in Croatia 91-96. Some literally were weekend warriors. Working Mo-Fr, then came to fight Sa-Su. Also steal, went to beaches, left front areas wide open without notice. Stole cars, filled them up with stolen goods & drove home. Murdered, r@ped, did all kinds of crimes for their pleasure. When realized, many of them were converted to fertilizers by our Croatian Officers. Many Sociopaths.

Exactly war tourists, take some selfies, create some stories and stay away from the front line.. Spend nights at the clubs, take care of widows and during the day spent time at the gym taking selfies.
Later go home, celebrate yourself as a hero and write a book about it. Career soldiers in civil clothes are the guys with lowest self-esteem.

Just stumbled upon your channel and the podcast. I'm a Ukrainian/American. I was born in Ukraine and brought to the United States as a child, by my parents. Served in the US Army, 2003-2015. (11Bravo, infantry, air-assault) had multiple deployments to Iraq, Africa and Afghanistan. During my last Afghanistan deployment, I got injured in Kunar Province, Pech River Valley, which eventually got me a medical discharge from the army. When the Russo-Ukrainian war kicked off, in February 2022, i packed my bags and just flew into Poland. From there I made my way into Ukraine and signed with International Legion. Who is this guy? Because I briefly was with second Battalion. There were about 10 Aussies all together. All were great guys.Then, me being born in Ukraine, I was able to sign with Ukrainian Armed Forces. They had better terms, at least for me. Great time in Legion though, great guys. Until the Victory 💪
Man when he said that after 7 years and loving the military he started to hate it was exactly how i felt just before i left after 10 years. Breaking point for me was when they were removing "death symbology" and making everything PC.
I had heard a bunch of foreign legion were dudes who couldnt get into the Aus army because of convictions or what ever. Im sure there's professional teams over there though

@@trollmcclure1884If you go down the rabbit hole you'll find some of the top people calling the shots at TH-cam are Chinese Nationals with an apparent agenda. Especially when it comes to reporting on the Chinese.
By default, anything that the Chinese would find needs censorship in their own country will also get a shadow ban on this platform.
That's one of the reasons the war in Ukraine is heavily suppressed here. China's intervention is real, and something they do not want talked about.
So they will auto shadow ban anything that covers the war from a non Chinese, and also Russian, perspective.

@@TsarOfRuss it’s a privately owned app not really a town hall or protest. But yea I wish TH-cam would open the gate a bit wider for creators no doubt. They definitely keep a closer eye or tighter leash on foreign even allied channels. Still pretty loose compared to fb and the like. It’s still better than some other country’s version of TH-cam. I think it’s actually pretty amazing compared to the media from previous wars. Can’t imagine what it would have been like on 9/12 if TH-cam was as big as it is now.

@@lauchlanguddy1004 there is always choice. Choose life over war. Trust me, those people in east Ukraine just want the war to be over, they don't care if they will live in Russia or Ukraine. Only those refugees who now live in the west somewhere are cheering for more weapons and war.
At the end they will all have to live together again. Nothing will change.
I am speaking from experience. When the war is over you can either stay or go somewhere else, it's your choice which passport you prefer. it will take years to rebuild and de-mine but lost loved ones can never be replaced.
@lauchlanguddy1004 the west have used them as revenge to Russia for putting a stop of the pillaging of Russia's recourses after the soviet collapsed and thought they could weaken Russia further but they were wrong. Ukraine literally is being used as cannon fodder while the elite get rich. It's fukn disgusting

Appreciate his time but every WW2 Vet would say it should never happen again and they would of done anything to get off the battlefield because it's the most horrific thing humanity can do to eachother,this man's over there because he loves it and can't wait to kill a Russian,or "my desire" as he put it.
