Hi Justin, I noticed the clear covers at the AMM too. I don't think plastic covers are great idea because they are not breathable and will trap moisture. I have a cotton cover on my Mustang.
There is no moisture here. Humidity is low in the desert. If the car is dry in a garage it shouldn’t be a problem. Definitely not for outdoor use and no cover should stay on long enough for that to be an issue.

Yal about the right size of cover to get I now get number 5 car cover the biggest cover for my 01 cobra convertable no more right size cover for my car because the bigger car cover covers the car more complete an that's what you want an the size my cobra calls for doesn't quite cover it like I want an yal the bigger car cover still stays on very good even in the wind an yal the plastic band around the bottom gets a little loose after about 6 months if you keep the car outside like I do but no problem just get some soft cloth rope an tie in three places yal been doing it for 22 years an paint an interior look new an I also put a plastic covering over the cloth car cover an always keep it in shade yal you don't need a guarge to keep these cars looking newwell now the cars 24 years old now so I guess I know how to keep a car looking like new without a guarge as with my mineral gray cobra an has all the original paint also never been painted an yal its a lot of work covering this car every time I use it an yal its a good thing I don't use the car more then like once a week or 3 times a months it's a pain in the ass really sence 2022 I've only put 200 miles on it I let it sit in 2022 for like 6 months because two coil packs we're messing up an the dealer was backed up for 4 months so I just let it sit for more months but still kept on top of it I'd start it up an let it idle an also wipe it down an armor all the interior an still keep it waxed .
I have a question my 2003 Sonic blue cobra has been stored at my fathers house in California. I had ford do a full service on the car five years ago . since then I’ve only driven it a little over 500 miles I plan on making a trip there in June is there any service I should do on the car ?
I know you didn’t ask me the question but if I could say, personally after that amount of time yes. Look over the most important things and change the oil.
