      Honestly as a big fan of superstar saga and other rpgs from the same creator, I was shocked to know Isa worked on that game. Also the queerz game is wicked, definitely check it out when you can!

    As a lover of all things wholesome, campy with a generous helping of cheese, this seems like such a fun game to play!

      Yeah it's a great game and want to play test it sometime as a GM!

      @@Blerdy_Disposition I love the comic too. But it seems like only homosexuality is represented in Queerz! As agender aro ace, I really wish there was a broader representation that encompasses queer community, not just gays and lesbians… especially because I LOVE the whole premise of the story and concept!

      @@EddVCR well I'm sure when the game is released you'll be able to play ace and aro characters!

    Yeah okay, the terminology is so on the nose that I kinda feel like it could turn some players off, but I love the art!!! And I love the intense queer flavoring!

      I think that's the charm. It is suppose to be cheesy and on the nose which is camp. It can be off putting but I can appreciate what they are going for!

    I dont know if it's a game about accepting who you are when the characters tend to look stereotypically gay. I mean they are reinforcing the very thing they claim to fight against so it just sounds dishonest.

      You know when I first found the game I was thinking something similar but as I dived into the development I suppose my thoughts changed. Because it is meant to be a good campy fun and the creators were fully aware of what they were doing. Of course I can see your interpretation.

    • @Blerdy_Disposition
      @Blerdy_Disposition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @L2 Sentinel Also I think in the game's character creation, you can be as campy or lack thereof in the game. I am sure the GM could spin it so its not so overtly campy. For some players maybe they wanna lean into sterotypes cause it might relate for others not so much. It really depends on the kind of pc one wants to play (and whether its fun).

      what's wrong with how the characters look? I don't understand

    • @Blerdy_Disposition
      @Blerdy_Disposition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@IaMSpeaks I was thinking the same thing. There is not anything inherently wrong with the characters looks. In fact I think they are quite cute. But hey different folks have different tastes I am!

      Why is the celebration of the things that gay people judge us for the enemy of self-acceptance? Stereotypes come from things real people do that get demonized and applied to everyone.
      Large hairy men with a lot of muscle are a real thing, feminine men are a real thing, drag queens are a real thing, and we should not reject them just because homophobes like to make fun of them for existing.
      While we should make it clear that this isn't how all gay people are or are inherent to gay people at all, we should not try to distance ourselves from these types of people to gain self-acceptance, because they're honestly doing nothing wrong.
