If the handle is bending/warping, your pushing way too hard. The action of the wash wand is that it forces the water and soap up through the clothes and I believe the instructions say that you should use enough water to go up the large wand to 3/4. Too much water doesn't help. I've been using mine weekly for almost 3 yrs. now and I love it. You may want to use vinegar in the rinse to soften the diapers. Epsom salts also works, about 2 tblsps. ;)

I bought 3 BLACK buckets (5gal.). The black get hotter in the sun. Then I fill the buckets about 1/2 full (leaves room for clothes) early in the morning, check that they remain in full sun (I cover buckets with black trash bags to hold in heat.) By later in the morning/afternoon, you have warm to medium hot water (for free). Presoak clothes for a while to get them the cleanest.

I have only tried mine out once so far, but it does NOT need so much force that you are going to make the handle flex...

I have been using a broom handle on this washer and it works much better. I was having back issues using the short handle. Half a bucket (3 gal. ) of water is all you need to 1 tsp. of concentrated laundry soap. For that many diapers, I would use a 15 gal. tote. Oh and 2 tbsp. of vinegar in the first rinse water will soften the clothes or diapers. Just an fyi!

Thanks for sharing. We have used this washer for 2 yrs. It gets the job done. Soak your clothes in soap and hot water for at least 30 min before washing. Use enough water that the clothes swim a little. If you have to push hard, you need more water. Soak in vinegar overnight is good for diapers and stains.

It should have had a retractable aerating middle. That would have been awesome. Like a pogo stick.

Most men add too much soap for a bucket of water.

First of all, you put too many diapers into the wash. I have used the breathing mobile washer for years now and it cleans clothes better than any washing machine but you have to use it correctly. You also need to fill the wash and rinse pail up with more water than you did. Put a few diapers in a time and you will find the plunger so much easier to push up and down and, because the pail is not over-jammed with diapers, the wash water can actually circulate through the clothes. I find that this is a mistake that people make even with normal automatic washers. Clothes get clean by the soapy water being forced through the fibers of the material and this can't happen if you jam too many clothes into any washer. So just wash a few at a time in the pail, then remove to the rinse pail, add a few more diapers into the wash and keep going that way. You should also have at least 2 rinses. I use 5 gallon pails and I always fill the water to just a few inches below the rim of the pail. I also place the pail in the bathtub because you are going to get splashing. Hope this helps anyone trying to use this very useful breathing mobile washer.
