Brenda released a CD in 2004 titled Between The Sun, Moon and Stars. There's one track titled The Message that will take you back to Piano In The Dark days. However, the entire CD is all that and then some. I wore the first one out and had to repurchase it. I've only done that for one other artist and that was Prince, so it should let you all know how much I think of Ms. Russell. You won't be disappointed!!
Every once in awhile an angel falls from heaven and Brenda, specifically in this this song, was just that.....amazing song and AMAZING writing and talent as a vocalist. World class class act and absolutely superb! Love ya Brenda! I'm gonna go see you live one of these days soon finally out here in LA after having listened to you for so many years on 94.7 KTWV.......

I have since found some 42 songs by Ms. Russell across several albums. It is notable, though merely my opinion, that each song is a cut above the average dreck we call pop music. For e.g. theres "Expect A Miracle", "Catch On", Nocturne, and the incredible "Love and Paris Rain" that she recorded with the Yellowjackets. Thats just a sampling there's much more.
