Oh yeah!! Taiwanese street food in TAICHUNG! What do you guys think looked the best? We are in OKINAWA Japan! 1 more video from Taiwan before our Japanese street food series begins! Follow us behind the scenes : instagram.com/derpyluke & facebook.com/chopsticktravel
Loved the ending 😂 It's those moments I miss from you older videos that were so entertaining and funny. Your videos seem much more formal and planned now...nothing wrong with it, just less entertaining, but I love your videos nonetheless! Keep them coming 😊
Beautiful drink look very good healthy foods and drinks are very good healthy foods thank you for sharing Bless you both enjoy your beautiful holiday there thanks
Nice! I used to teach at the hess right around the corner from that bubble tea spot. The year after I moved from Chiayi (where we lived in Ja nan di yi jien)
there is a famous stall serving sesame sauce noodle in the 2nd market too, that's my favorite! And there is a really famous honey cake across the street of 2nd market.
Nice video, Luke. The drone views really add to the beauty of the entire area you are in! Your videos have improved greatly over time!! Love your travels with Sabrina!
向上market!!!! My favorite! You are so local! How did you know this place....and you just past the best 肉圓 in the 向上 Market.....and again you passed the most famous 肉圓 in the Second Market......oh, you even visited 春水堂!
Love the aerial view. Ahh, the Chinese roast duck soft taco 😜 for breakfast with loh ba kao and glutinous rice sausage for $2 . Ihop (I mean ihob) can't touch that. Luke & Sabrina eating like King's and Queen's on a paupers budget , life is wonderful.
Guys, love the editing and music. Where do you get the aerial footage, shoot it yourselves or stock? The exposure seems very consistent with the rest of the scenes. Great job.
Lots of roast ducks here look very good healthy food nice place for food very fresh food I love roast ducks , Luke you got your hair cut look very good thank you for sharing your beautiful video, 27-11-18: This is not right is the wrong wrap it should wrap with spring roll wrap.
My last visit to Taiwan to visit family was 20 years ago. So since I've found your videos I've been living vicariously through you. Which Asian country's cuisine is your favorite? I'm amazed that you're basically willing to try everything and you seem to enjoy some of the textures common to traditional Asian foods that are not commonly found or enjoyed in Western cuisines. That's awesome!
Hey Martin! I'm glad to see you came to my city. You share many worth-going spots. Pekin Roasted Duck is my favorite food. It's wrap can be torn to two thinner one, so you can have more pieces when you eat. You could try it next time. Hope you have a great time in Taichung
Very beutiful vedio luke .....the Peking duck way of cooking looked unique using the fans .....the noodles soup looks so tempting.......highlight is u shooting Sabrina with that yummy baboa.....god bless ... Be safe.... Namaste....
Luke, I grew up near the 2nd market and I'd like to recommend you trying the famous stewed pork belly rice. You can find several vendors selling it inside the 2nd market. My favorite is a vendor called "Fish Skin Lee" which is famous for their pork rice as well as shark skin soup. Happy tasting, cheers!
As a local living in Taichung for 20years. Everywhere you took place is gorgeous. Especially foods in 2nd market. Also the duck is my favorite. But I think you put too much sauce on it. I could be too sweet😂 If you come back to Taichung again. I wish recommend something new for you guys!
Hey Luke, there is actually more than "three" wrap that came with the duck. Next time look the the crease near the edges, it splits into two super thin wraps, which does wonders (texture-wise) when eaten with the duck!
Its a hybrid of Peking and Canton roasted duck. Usually, the leftover of the bones is often fried with 3 cup sauce, green onions, gingers, and garlic. Sometimes sold in the vender trucks. Very interesting street food in Taiwan.
Muita Bacana, acompanho sempre seus vídeos, gosto de ver essa cultura, que me fascina. E de uma certa forma acabo conhecendo melhor a cultura oriental. Belo trabalho. Boa sorte pra vocês!!!
At 12:45 you walked by the most amazing wonton soup restaurant in Taiwan (and possibly the world). We've eaten at both the first two places many, many times--we always hit the wonton-soup restaurant to make the trifecta. If you go to Taichung, that wonton place you passed should be high on your list of priorities. :-)
Luke, did you try the stired fried Peking duck frame that come in the same serving from the stall you went?? It's the best as well!! I so wished you introduce that side dishes as well. XD all the best
You are making my mouth water.. Wonton Soup. Roast Duck. Does the Radish have strong radish taste or is it mild ? The Noodle dish looked great. Great ending..LOL.. .. Safe Travels
