Great video. I always enjoy watching your trip in Tainan, hometown. The noodles you accidentally bumped into is called “Lu-mian.” It is served at the time of an engagement ceremony. The bride’s family will prepare this dish to serve the groom to welcome his arrival to ask for her parents’ approval; the groom usually arrives with gifts (money). It is a very traditional dish and till today the tradition is still practicing in Tainan. You can only find Lu-mian in Tainan.
My aunt would buy those taiwan sausages when she comes home to the Philippines☺️ im much more excited than the sausage haha i really love those sausages very delicious

Actually the Thick Soup Noodle you had it's quite popular in Taiwan, the one you had just got a bit twist to it(they added cabbage/white redish/carrot) so they call it lu mien. The almost identical dish would be something like 羹geng麵mien (just without those vegetables mentioned) and there are tons of variation like pork ball, shrimp, squid, calamari, duck and so on. If you look at the stall at 1:40 behind you, that's a geng mien stall. And the acidity of the soup comes from black vinegar, because a lot of times black vinegar are added to all kinds of thick soup just to bring out the taste. For example, the noodle you had, intestine noodle(mien xian), or sweet n sour soup(red vinegar is used usually).
The Spring roll or also known as "Lumpiang Sariwa" in our Version here..is Already a Complete meal I Really Enjoy the food at night market i wish im there to taste everything their have to offer Enjoy & Take Care Sabrina&Luke
There is a sequence of night market in Tainan, start from Monday is Da Da Wu Hua Da WuHua Hua.May be you've already known. Which means Monday: Dadong night market Tuesday:Dadong night market Wednesday: Wusheng night market Thursday:Huayuan night market(AKA Garden night market) Friday:Dadong Saturday:Wusheng & Huayuan both Sunday:Huayuan
