- We live in a society where every mousepad company has cloned the artisan hien so this is a tier list explaining most/all of the options. Full reviews for nearly all of the pads are posted. NONE of the pads are coated and most are around $30 for XL sizes

@@shyamjeganathan2688 In my opinion, it's not all Artisan's fault. Mostly, it's the people who bought it in bulk for either sell it with a high price or trolling so that other people wouldn't get to buy an Artisan. I've been waiting 3 months for the red Hien to stock up.

I bought a Odin Infinity a month ago after watching your review of it and absolutely love it. It's my first mouse gaming mouse pad, I was thinking of an Artisan but #1 they were out of stock in Europe and #2 for half the price I thought the Odin would be a good way to see if I liked the Hien style of pad.
As I said I am well happy with it so thank you for the review.
Hey boardzy! How fast is the strider relative to the raiden? I like my raiden but I want more of a desk pad size.
I have XXL Odin infinity, it stays on my desk and when I try out new pads I put them on top of it.

Hey I’m at a loss here.. I thought I would have liked ceramic skates combined with the Helios air.. turns out it’s just tooo fast for me. I originally was using ptfe + gsr mouse pad. What is something in between gsr and Helios air combined with ceramic g floats? Should I just go back to ptfe, and get some cloth pad in this list?
Which version of hien si more comparable with the fnatic dash or glorious fire? (soft or mid?) I have the xsoft, but it dosn't feel like my glorious fire. I feel I perform bettero on the glorious fire mousepad, but I like that the hien is bigger. So I would like to know which version of hien or otsu would be closer to the glorious fire/fnatic dash mousepad.

the strider is excellent. its surface is pretty similar to the g-tfx, the base is much better. i prefer it over the dash, the g-tfx and the odin. hope that razer will make a 50x50 xl version, i'd buy it on the spot.
Couldn’t agree more, I hate 450x400, they feel so small after using artisans or any 50x50 pads
What about the stitching though? GTFX has the best stitching I ever felt, even better than Artisans.

boardzy i have the dash need stopping power, they have the hien xl mid in stock. is there a huge dif in stopping power from the soft? i wanna jump but been holding out for the soft , should i get?

You should do a tier list for pads with global availability. I've been trying to get a Strider for a friend and the XL's have been sold out on all the asia retailers since it came out. You can find the deskmat size but no one in SE asia has a desk that big lol.
Does the GPX double click or did they fix that? Don't want to spend $200 on a mouse for it to double click in three days.
Had mine since launch not a single double click. They also changed from omron 50m to 20m

I recommend soft, buyt all hardnesses are sufficient

Yes, colors are just colors. Don’t affect glide.

*I thing aqua+ pads with skins are all heat printed now and don't degrade with time.* Some reddit post go deeper into depth on this but I don't have the pads so take this with a grain of salt i guess.

How would you describe the Strider compared to GTF-X? Been using the GTF-X since it came out.....the only problem for me is the humidity and durability with it.
Strider is like using a large piece of sandpaper that’s crazy good on water repellent, fast tracking, extremely durable and easy to maintain. I own an Artisan Hein Large Soft and ended up going back to the Razer.
This has got to be hands down the most niche video I’ve ever been recommended

There is no general best mouse.
If you like small mice get a small wireless.
Also depends strongly on your grip style.

So I got the Infinity Hybrid mousepad as my first ever "high end" mousepad. Honestly I'm a bit disappointed because WHY DID I NOT GET THIS SOONER?!?!??! I bought it last week, then a day later it was sold out, but damn is the mousepad good.

Its a better texture than the mp510 but I had an issue with mine not laying flat. I think its an improvement from the mp510 tho

@@boardzy I've heard the mp511 is faster than the mp510. I have the Hien Soft and Strider but feel that both of those are too fast (the Hien just slightly too fast). Previously, I was on a zero mid but it became way too slow after a year with my gpx. Looking for something between the Hien and zero in speed and was consider mp510 or mp511. Would you recommend either I'm my case?

Its a cordura mousepad that isnt close to the hiens texture. All of the others are made with the hien in mind

but is hien 'hybrid' pad? I thought it as cloth pad because it is made of sponge and poly cloth layer. same goes to ac+, but not dash and strider cause they have silicon base.
Dash and strider do not have silicon bases. All of the $30 hien clones have natural rubber backings. I put “hybrid” because none of these are actually hybrid pads imo. Something like a glide-38 or a shidenkai is a hybrid pad

How do these compare to the glide 38 or smaller 19??
They have a much more plushy cloth feeling generally. Some pads like the GTFX and strider are nearly as rough, but still have rubber bases
@@boardzy I'm looking at the strider because I want a tad less starting friction then what I get with my glide 19. It's fast but I would like a tad more when hard pads are too much for me.

MPC450 is a cordura mousepad not a hybrid. Cheaper, smoother and a little faster. I prefer it over these hybrids.
Nah not a hien clone, i think i included it in a hien alternatives video a while back. Its cordura and not similar texture wise. Lower initial and dynamic friction than the pads in this vid

Who would think that nowadays razer would be producing top tier, budget friendly products. Get yourself a strider with an orochi v2, and now you have yourself both a good gaming experience and lunch money.

I went from an odin infinity to a qck thick large and mannnnnn. The odin is really good low friction compared to the hien.
