Man I saw the Rat Mat, and was really waiting or hoping you actually got to try it. I have a review on my channel of the Tou model. It’s the smoothest and most controlled hard surface ive ever felt. I had a Fnatic Focus 3 for a while, and I really couldn't find anything special about it. Got a razer Gigantus for cheap, and I basically improved all my aiming scores compared to the Fnatic.
Boardzy mentioned that pretty much all glass pads have a coating when he talked about the razer atlas. Is there more information about that somewhere? I have the skypad 3 and I never noticed it having a coating.
A nice way to feel the coating is if you scratch your nails over the pad and after that do the same thing to a window. Window has no coating, skypad has. Feels like micro specs of some sort of material on your nails.
The micro bumps of the skypad are just the texture of the surface. It doesn't mean that the surface is made out of a different material. A phone screen for example has a coating and feels perfectly smooth like a window. Frosted glass on the other hand can have the micro bumps without a coating.

prefer the glass pads to any of my artisan pads. if you use PCs 12+ hrs per day like me, glass pads are the best way to keep clean and consistent performance. however super lightweight mice do not perform well on glass pads since there's no real control pads made with glass.
Recently i buy the Aqua Control Plus custom and i'm like too much for consistency with him in the games, and the xraypad is good looked in your pads durability, so i expect no change for now
I need a suggestion on a new mousepad. My cats have a tendency to ruin cloth pads. I have gone through 5 pads now on 3 pc's in the last year. We have tried to train and keep the cats off the desks but usually over night one of them will decide they need a good scratch pad. So I will need to move over to a hard pad of some kind. I currently use an Xray pad Aqua Control + with 28-32 CM 360 at 800 dpi. I dont even know where to start with either hard or glass pads at this point. Any suggestions to point me in a direction would be appreciated.
Have you tried the drunk deer keyboards? If so how would you compare them to the wooting in terms of the rapid trigger, sound quality and build quality?
I don't understand how CS pros like Ropz, Monesy & Device can use the QcK/Heavy.. Maybe the stock skates on the EC2 & Superlight are so bad they just need a fast pad that can be swapped out as soon as the coating deteriorates after a month or two?
I just wanted to give the highly praised artisan mats a shot, but the sizes are always some kind of square. It's a shame, because I just got accustomed to a deskmat so that my keyboard also sits on the mat. Meh. No artisan for me. :(
Aye what do you think about the hyster mouse pads?? Im mainly focused on looks and want something good but doesnt have to be the best or nothing just dont want it to be bad
i love you but you gotta learn to respect Qck heavy, theres jst something else about it that a lot of people still opt for it instead of zero, not talking about quality wise, performance. putting g640s above qck makes zero sense
still have my Venus, it's from the first batch. I definitely agree the older Venus is much better, best mousepad I've bought thus far but might upgrade soon. I love balanced pads ever since I switched to a lighter mouse (Atlantis Mini Pro 4k)
The durability is top tier for cloth pads, I've had zeros that remain consistent after many years. The hien will definitely gradually slow down but not completely wear out long term. The issue is if you obsess over consistency you're going to tweak yourself out and blame the pad well before 2 years of use. Just buy the pad and use it
QcK is still the best of all the pads I tried. But my issue is that it takes time to break in, and becomes too slow after like 6 months. But when it is at it's sweet spot, nothing beats it. And there's not stiched edges either which I hate. I think I'm gonna try the Type 99 next. But so far I have always reverted back to the QcK. I think it all depends on your gripstyle, aim style and sensitiity wether or not a pad is good. It so much a personal preference that I'm doubting these tier lists are any helpful really.
@@boardzy their uniqueness i think relies on their price being low while having poron-like bases and soft surfaces. Aim adapt has a video reviewing them. And yeah heard some people got their pads folded with marks.
Basically, my pads are at least B tier very shocking (Xraypad AC2 Sakura, ESPTiger Chuan Yun Pink, Artisan Zero XSoft Daidai Orange, Had Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft in Red but sold that one)
I have to heavily disagree on your razer atlas opinion, I have tried way too many mousepads and I have to say that by far the atlas is insanely good, I think I would never switch to another mouse pad ever, please give it another chance so people dare to try it themselves, razer really outside themselves with that one, much love

@@meffmeffmeff its arriving today, can’t wait
prefer the glass pads to any of my artisan pads.
if you use PCs 12+ hrs per day like me, glass pads are the best way to keep clean and consistent performance.
however super lightweight mice do not perform well on glass pads since there's no real control pads made with glass.
What would be the Artisan equivalent of the Fnatic Focus 3?
Recently i buy the Aqua Control Plus custom and i'm like too much for consistency with him in the games, and the xraypad is good looked in your pads durability, so i expect no change for now
What's the Glorious Mouse Pad 2 XXL like ?
Absolute trash do not get it
I need a suggestion on a new mousepad.
@boardzy Hi, wouldn't you like to sell the skypad 2.0 xl?
It's out of the market, I really wanted this model
What would you compare the 4114 and 4d too? Very famous Fortnite pads
would you guys say its worth it upgrading from a LGG Saturn Pro V1 to a Artisan Zero?
I just wanted to give the highly praised artisan mats a shot, but the sizes are always some kind of square.
It's a shame, because I just got accustomed to a deskmat so that my keyboard also sits on the mat. Meh. No artisan for me. :(
By the Fnatic Focus 3 do you mean the normal Focus 3 or the MAX FOCUS 3? Thanks in advance :)
The max version is solid. Normal version is a decent budget buy
@@boardzy Thanks bro!
Decent tier list.....The Blitz !!!!
Amazing pad !!
What's artisans durability? If I buy one it won't lose efficiency after 2 years? (playing around 3h/day)
The durability is top tier for cloth pads, I've had zeros that remain consistent after many years. The hien will definitely gradually slow down but not completely wear out long term. The issue is if you obsess over consistency you're going to tweak yourself out and blame the pad well before 2 years of use. Just buy the pad and use it
been using glorious xl mousepad for 6 months now and im kinda happy with it idk (mostly playing apex)
Any plans to try out Meow Gaming Gear pads? (ultradash, ultracontrol v2, ultraerialace, etc.)
Not until they learn how to ship mousepads lmao. Also not very interested in clones, are any of the pads unique?
@@boardzy their uniqueness i think relies on their price being low while having poron-like bases and soft surfaces. Aim adapt has a video reviewing them. And yeah heard some people got their pads folded with marks.
@@sebasarribas8646 Probably won't cover them then tbh
@@boardzy Understandable, keep the great content up boardzy
Basically, my pads are at least B tier very shocking (Xraypad AC2 Sakura, ESPTiger Chuan Yun Pink, Artisan Zero XSoft Daidai Orange, Had Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft in Red but sold that one)
what your thoughts on x-rays aqua control 2? didn't see it listed
I'd appreciate a tier list based on price range!
hey boardzy what do you think about the roccat sense ctrl ?
I have the QCK and IKEAPAD but I went back to QCK because my hand on the IKEAPAD does not feel comfortable long term. I prefer the comfort on my QCK.
Imagine you tried a good mousepad
Invest your time and money in better pads.....QCK is hot garbage
How does the xsoft type99 compare to a worn in saturn pro?
Definitely slower and plushier
Whats the best option for a glass pad alternative but without the downsides and available in XXL? Coming from an AC+
i barely can tell a difference between 2 same shape mices and you can tier list 100 mousepad !! wow
I have to heavily disagree on your razer atlas opinion, I have tried way too many mousepads and I have to say that by far the atlas is insanely good, I think I would never switch to another mouse pad ever, please give it another chance so people dare to try it themselves, razer really outside themselves with that one, much love
Why didn't you include aqua control 2?
its the same as the plus
hey, im between buying a razer strider, a gigantus or a zowie Gsr-se, which should i choose? i play mainly cs/battlefield and use a logi superlight pro
can u do a review on MGG mousepads? the ultracontrol v2 and ultra dash
Should I buy the 60 he or wait for the 80 he because it’s come with the new features
“Uneven Filipino jungle desk” made me giggle
Ok what the sensible upgrade from QCK? I want the same type of mousepad but better
Inked Gaming is goated
Ive used mousepads that were out in the based and A tiers and I still prefer the QCK+
Thoughts on pk control 1?
SteelSeries QCK large gaming mouse pad tier list ?
