I think a lot of this is wrong, Thorfinn after episode 6 was around 16-17 not 13 and as a slave was 18-19 and 22 by the time the slave arc ends after words during the eastern expedition arc he is 22+. Either way good video and love the colored grown up panels I appreciate when people make videos like this, I just had to point that out.

He lost his father at the age of 6 in the winter of 1002 (the year of the St. Bryce's Day Massacre) and became a warrior.
On February 3 of 1014 (the day King Sweyn died) he became a slave at the age of 18.
He became free in the fall of 1018 at the age of 22.
In the spring of 1022, at the age of 26, he began his settlement in Vinland.
In the latest episode (at the time of the first harvest), in 1023, Thorffin was 27.

No it was said in the manga and anime that three years had passed since Thorfinn and Einar first met, and Thorfinn has spend some time there even before they met so probably like 4-5 years in the slave/farmland arc

The timeline, more specifically, Thorfinn's age is wrong. For the most of the war arc, beginning with the battle of London bridge all the way to them reaching Gainsborough, Thorfinn is 17

I know it’s an anime and I know it’s fiction, but still it’s my personal philosophy that in order to Live a full life you need to start off having adventures when you’re young! And as a result, he’s matured in a fast pace before even reaching his mid-20s! I know that being a child protagonist at first doesn’t sound like the rage but you can’t argue with the results in the end.
He is one of the best anime chara made, his character development really change the perspective of the audience.
