After all these years, I STILL cannot believe how undervalued Jaguar XJ220's are, especially considering it's contemporaries of the time. Dream car since the very first time I saw one - truly stunning.
The black AM V8 Vantage Coupe was Timothy Dalton's Bond car in Living Daylights. That was my first introduction to Bond movies growing up and I always loved that car. Amazing to see one out in the real world!
I wish you had looked at the 928 sitting outside as I have always liked the look of that car since my neighbor bought one in the 80's. You should do a voiceover vlog running through these cars again, stating what they actually sold for. Love your vlogs, hello from CA! 😁👍✌

Yeah, it was a toss up between the Smart Crossblade and the '73 911 2.7 RS. But seriously...when do you EVER see a REAL 2.7 rs cross the block? What a thing!
That xj220 is beautiful in that colour. I was lucky enough to do some paint work corrections on one recently. All the TWR built parts were pure exotica, all the jaguar parts were broken or repaired at some point!
Harry I want the next installment of the jag.i love that car,and want to see more of it,I know these things take time, but would love more updates. Lovely car and a fantastic colour. Cant wait to see it in all its glory.
But I'd take an F40 over an xj220 10 times out of 10, so not sure it is undervalued. It's not as pretty, it's a lot heavier, its engine isn't special. So not sure it is that undervalued.
@@improcrastinating8063 disagree about the looks. Never liked the F40 looks [old fashioned when it came out. Designed with a ruler]. As for how they drive, that's a different matter.
In 1993 in the US Jaguar desperate to gain attention for the XJ220 held a short lived racing series called Fast Masters, basically a group of retired racers racing identically prepared XJ220s. But that wasn't the crazy part, they raced them on short ovals. It really didn't take long for Jaguar to see they had made a mistake as cars were getting chewed up at a rather good clip. You know racers being racers and walls being rather immovable.
I used to think it was inevitable that the XJ220 would eventually rise in value and take its rightful place among the F40, 959 and EB110. I’m not so sure anymore. There’s no fathomable reason for it, but they may stay relatively cheap forever.
