My dampener keep staying shut for both zones. It will randomly open on its own. It works if I shut the AC unit off for several hours then back on. What could it be or how can I by pass the dampener for both zones?
When wiring the equipment side, why did you put the auxiliary call on W2 and not W1/E?
Basically because they pretty much function the same. If I'm not mistaken, the only function you're missing if you don't wire it to W1/E is the ability to be able to run emergency heat from the Zone board by pressing the emergency heat button. You definitely want to have it wired w1/E at the thermostat though.

Why on Honeywell zone boards you dont use common where it says equipment?
What's the purge function for?
The Purge function opens the dampers and runs the fan for a set amount of time, I believe between 2 to 5 minutes after a thermostat satisfied. The Purge override button cancels that program.
