Only one note, Mario wouldn't end up "in a cell at Guantanamo" it wasn't for war criminals. Most believe the detainment of people at Guantanamo was a violation of the Geneva Conventions itself, so if anything Mario is probably running his own Guantanamo somewhere.
5:46 The existence of Guantanamo Bay itself being effectively a massive breach of the Geneva Conventions (as well as no small amount of international law) clearly means that Mario belongs there.
"I think it is fair to say that they'd likely outlaw firing children out of a giant cannon into an active volcano." that had me laughing so hard. Great video as always
Let's not forget that in Super Mario Bros, the first one at the very least, the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom have canonically been turned into the breakable blocks that can be found in every level. Every time Mario breaks one of these blocks, he is actually killing a prisoner of war FROM HIS OWN SIDE
wasnt it explained in the manual that they're only "?" Blocks and that Mario receives a coin from a citizen after releasing them from the "?" block. Or maybe that was an interview? i swear I've heard about this information from somewhere...
i dont mean to discredit this video, but does this law apply to the kart/party/sport/other side games? These games operate outside the context of a war/battle. Tennis is an outlier, of course. Clearly, the Mushroom Kingdom needs some conventions of their own to stop this senseless violence.

Yeah right? What a weird comment 💀💀
Could Luigi's frequent capture of ghosts be considered desecration of the dead?
Absolutely!!!

Quite the opposite, he wouldn't be there but rather he's running one somewhere!
@@douglasboyle6544 Hard Drive Mag's video of "Why Mario is probably a CIA asset" coming up next.

@@Tribow Sounds like Mario regime propaganda
Another top-notch video. Hopefully this Red Menace is served the justice he deserves.
Brian David Gilbert's legacy lives on.
"this is actually not far off the holocaust"
i hate you for making me laugh out loud for this
Amazing dedication to exposing this criminal for what he truly is! I hope the Sonic video gets made too
10:05 "must be subjected to torture" - the narrator has been subjected to too much Mario and started thinking like him
"And Homelander" killed me
OSHA violations abound as well
Baby Park joke was excellent, and I'm a Baby Park apologist
Video versions of HD articles? Hell yeah.
of course, this is the video i was expecting to watch when i woke this morning.

This video has made me believe that Mario games are super cool and I'm gonna play them all
To quote BDG, "Oh my god, they're civilians."
Mario is too dangerous to be left alive

Mario is insane but still doesn't have anything on the USA
Leonard likes this post.
I hope you do the Sonic follow-up, but don't limit yourself to the Ten Commandments-there are literally 613 _mitzvot_ to reference against.
Comment for the algorithm gods!
Can't wait to hear what false idols sonic worships
