I wish I could have seen the mom beg one last time after OP told Mandy what was happening, the mom finally taking her son seriously & begging for help/finally trying to treat him like her child before he calls her out & finally cuts contact. Also given OP said he was 15 when he was abandoned by his family & his current boss helped him there's a possibility that this guy helped OP finish at least high school or something & the family was unaware cause they care so little about him. Given what happened with OP's grandparents on his mom's side I kinda hope the extended family is still on contact or at least he has some extended family that care. Be funny if before the divorce happened Mandy went home & acted like a spoiled brat expecting them to care for her since they've always spoiled her before. The parents who are having issue at the moment realize OP was right about them spoiling Mandy to much, the parents end up kicking her out & then now that she's not their problem anymore they go back to their arguments until they finally divorce & separate.

I'm an older sibling and I got both of my younger siblings their first shots where we worked at never in my life was I nice to them to the point everybody she claimed I was free favoritism. If I made another crewmember scrubbed the toilet I would make one of them scrub it! There was nothing in the store I wouldn't make one of my other siblings do that I would make a regular crew member too. But this is all stuff I as a manager myself with you so if I'm willing to go and scrub a toilet any of my crew member should be. The only ones I might give a little leeway with about scrubbing the bathroom or pregnant women and that's because of the harsh chemicals we use to clean the bathroom but even then that's about the only thing I do let them do is work with anything that has a harsh chemical in it
I was a trainer at one of my former employers. I showed my trainee how to do the worst possible job there was, then told him next week it's your job. Fast forward 2 weeks, he comes in, tells me he's going to do said gross job, but I told him it was already done. When he asked who did it, I told him that I did, and that I wasn't going to make him do any job that I wouldn't. Gained a lot of respect, and more importantly, co-operation when working together.
4:55 I work in the ag industry and if I acted like this I'd have been fired that day. I need a job in the corporate world they will put up with anything and you never get fired. I guess now I know how companies just waste money it's on worthless employees.
