  • 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, TEN THINGS WE HATE ABOUT IT. First and foremost, make sure to check out ALL of our sponsors and brands we've partnered with. GladiatorGang.com
    We have dozens of companies we work with and are adding more all the time. Also, make sure to get yourself a Jeep Gladiator Cover from our friends at 404Parts, link is of course on our website.
    If you plan on going DOORLESS & TOPLESS in your new 2020 Jeep Gladiator Truck, there's 3 brands you really need to check out and support, Alien Sunshade amzn.to/2FzQdMa (sunshade to protect yourself from the UV's) Arc Off-Road amzn.to/2R3TOrh (door hanging brackets and door cart) and of course our newest brand we're working with 404 Parts GladiatorGang.com/404Parts (they offer tons of parts, but the Mopar Jeep Cover is what we have and highly recommend, because you WILL GET RAINED ON or if you're a little crazy like us you will get snowed on too). We are an amazon associate, if you buy anything we will get a small commission for your purchase and use it to BUILD THE MOST EPIC JEEP GLADIATOR CONTENT ON THE PLANET. Thanks for supporting the channel and brand!
    Now, everyone always asks us about the wheels and tires, those are the 35 inch ‪@bfgoodrichtires‬Tires KM3 Mud Terrains (35X12.50R17) amzn.to/39VSsaN and we are running them on the Dirty Life Race Wheels DT-1 Satin Gold Beadlock wheels amzn.to/2FzqALt 12x9. They can be beadlock mounted or standard DOT approved mounted, it doesn't matter, one wheel, two mounting options, but you'll need the beadlock rings for beadlock mounting amzn.to/2seXJJA
    Also, we highly recommend you check out Late Model Lighting for all your headlight and LED needs, we are working with them to install and review the amazing ORACLE LED Headlights for the Jeep Gladiator. GladiatorGang.com/LateModelLig...
    A little basic info about the Z Automotive Tazer, if literally does DOZENS of things, but the main thing you need to know is, it will let you TAKE CONTROL of your Jeep Gladiator or Jeep Wrangler, removing lots of the stupid restrictions and limitations, and letting you do what you want and removing some of those annoying features like the seat belt dinging, or not being able to type in an address into navigation while you're driving your new Jeep Gladiator Truck. Also, you can adjust your tire sizes, keep your fog lights on when you put your bright lights on, activate the backup camera when you user your turn signal, remove the TPMS warning from the dash if you don't have your TPMS's in (like us). Plus a whole lot more, make sure to check our website for more info: GladiatorGang.com/Tazer
    If you want to really make your new Jeep Truck fun to drive and give yourself a lot more control of the performance and throttle, get yourself an iDrive Throttle Controller, it'll change your life and has a 30 day money back guarantee (because they know you'll love it!) www.GladiatorGang.com/iDrive
    If you live anywhere near snow and you plan on driving your Jeep Gladiator in it, you really need to have it protected with KROWN Rust Control, we had ours done by MJR Custom Coatings (Bullet Liner / Krown Dealer) and we are very happy with it so far. Krown.com for more info.
    Having a good place to put your cell phone in the Gladiator is NOT AN OPTION, there's no room, so you need to check out Buller Proof Mounting Solutions, and get their new mount, its amazing and we highly recommend it: GladiatorGang.com/BulletProof
    Also, our friends at Rock Slide Engineering make the WORLD'S ONLY Rock Sliding Power Step for Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Wrangler, make sure to check them out, we will have them installed on our Jeep Gladiator very soon, GladiatorGang.com/RockSlide
    If you're ever wondering what companies we work with or recommend, make sure to always check out our website GladiatorGang.com/Sponsors for the most up to date list and info.

    If you want a better sound out of your V6, go for an aftermarket muffler. There are tons of options and you will get that truck engine sound if that’s what you are preferring. As for capability, it’s a very capable engine with the only con, It does not have lots of torque in the low rpm.

    • @GladiatorGang
      @GladiatorGang  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dima Habenko for sure it’s a great motor, was just being funny. However, my biggest and most wanted mod besides 40’s+ is 6.4L swap, which will hopefully be done in the fall. Unofficial Use Only has a 1975 Jeep Wagoneer in the shop right now that has an LSA and is swapping it with a Hemi. Gladiator has a MINIVAN MOTOR LOL 😂 but yeah, working with an exhaust brand now to get new exhaust, mainly just to help give it more attitude and sound. Trying to finish the fuel economy tests before ANY MODS. Comparing 33’s to 35’s to 37’s to see the gas mileage difference. Thanks for the comments!

  • @big6700
    @big6700 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The analog gas meter is the exact same thing as the digital lol. It has the same number of hash marks, it's just straight not rounded. If you go to the mpg page on the dash it shows you your range which is how many miles left you have in the tank. If you can't tell how much gas is left, it's time to hit the gas station.

    • @GladiatorGang
      @GladiatorGang  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not always an option, and sometimes it’s nice to play our route based on distance. Being in the car business for so long, you get used to having vehicles that’ll go really lower below the mark with the needle. Either way, gas up and don’t worry.

    1) As mentioned the Auto Stop and having to push button every single time I drive.
    2) Though I like the loudness of the horn for road use, it's entirely way to LOUD as a "Locked door" or "remote start" indicator........ especially early mornings or late night at the house. The whole neighborhood knows when I leave and arrive.

    I also think they should have put the rear axle/tire in the center of the truck bed instead of between the truck bed and cab. It would have eliminated some of the rear overhang when off roading that everyone complains about. But then again the high center in the middle would have increased slightly too, but avoidable with bigger tires and lift.

    • @GladiatorGang
      @GladiatorGang  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      5 foot bed and crew cab is like 80% of the midsize truck market, so they didn't have a lot of choice, but this can be argued a million different ways. Love the truck, had a hard time coming up with stuff to complain about LOL

    • @johnthibodeaux5189

      NOT. GONNA. HAPPEN. EVER. PERIOD.
      I’m friends with two of the top engineering guys who convinced Sergio (CEO of FCA at the time it was released) and that’s not gonna happen.
      There’s simply NO MARKET for it. It’s less than 5% of Wranglers.
      80% of all midsize trucks are 5 foot bed crew cab.
      They can’t make a truck and spend mass amounts to a tiny market. They’d lose their ass.
      Although, you’ll be able to convert one, but I’ll cost you a FORTUNE.
      Was just at @Unofficial Use Only today and Greg Henderson (World Class Builder) has done it to his Wrangler and many other vehicles.
      We talked about doing quite a few WILD THINGS with ours, like converting it to the FC Gladiator or even putting a REAL M715 Front end on it, or even a Cherokee/Comanche front end on it.
      Greg is the one who did the SQUARE HEADLIGHTS on the Red Gladiator for SteerSmarts for SEMA, the YJ Wrangler Headlights (I watched him make the grill and part of the assembly).
      Anyway, have an awesome GLOBAL QUARANTINE.
      I traveled over 200 miles today in FREEZING TEMPS DOORLESS & TOPLESS.
      Extreme winds and it was COLD. Froze my tail off. But, picked up the 37’s & spare 35.
      Waiting for Dirty Life to send another set of wheels and possibly gonna try out a new tire brand.

    • @umfan287
      @umfan287 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GladiatorGang Why don't you recommend leasing? My guess is because of the need/fix to customize your JT. That's fine, you just know that you will buy it out after the lease. The lease payment is much cheaper than buying for a few years and that allows you to spend those bucks on the look/customizing you want. Then after that lease contract is over, you know you have the look you wanted.. Then just buy your contract out, at the higher monthly payment and you end up having the Jeep look you wanted at the same high price monthly payment you would of been paying from the start (in not a lease) with a stock JT and then throwing money into it chasing the look..
      It's all how you want to tackle it if you are not rich.... Pay a lot now or pay more later after you made your ride.... But one constant Jeep will cost you money.. Just my 2 cents.

      You’ll need at least a few years of them on the road before you’ll know if they’re any good or not.
      HOWEVER, It could be the best engine ever built by Fiat/Jeep or the worst. Totally up to you if you’re willing to take the risk.

The 3.6 is also in the Challenger not just mini vans! I had a challenger V6 and it was bad ass for having just a V6. its all in set up and tuning. The challenger 3.6 is rated for 300 HP. Gladiator Gang I bought a rubicon in Firecracker red with almost all options except the front bumper (plastic), I will change the bumper in the AEV stubby (when it’s available), with a Warn Zeon 12s-winch. I bought 37” BF Goodrich mud Terrain KM3 tires, black rhino armory wheels 17”x9.5” and a 4.5” Skyjacker lift kit with black max Shox. I will use it as an overlander truck to travel in Europe so I will have to buy also a bed rack and rooftop tent to put on the rack.

    • @GladiatorGang
      @GladiatorGang  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have the 37” KM3’s as well, waiting on another set of wheels to mount them. You are gonna have a killer build!

    The reason for the wavy panels is cause there flat, now if it had a body line/contor to the panel it would eliminate that waviness.
